We absolutely love this resort!! Very family friendly but also perfect for young adults and adults along with them. The area is better than others and the best bartenders in town! Shout out to Pedro, Kevin & Jahnthon you guys are all amazing!

Another Great Vacation

We just returned home on January 26 from another great week of vacation at Marival Emotions Resort. The resort is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The staff are very dedicated in providing a first class experience for all guests. In particular, a special thank you to the Bell Boys who were the first ones to greet us with a welcoming smile.....Tino, Jorge, Gabrielle, Saul, and Pedro. Also a special shout out to Christian, Alexa and Jose in Amalfi....Judith at the M&M Bar....Alejandra at Bar Palapa...Rene at Pergola.....Dalia at Bar Volare....Louisa in Housekeeping and Fidel at the Tours and Excursions Desk! Thank you all for your genuine hospitality and dedicated service! See you next time!

Diego and Maricla, Eduardo were excellent. They got us cappuccinos and my friend got tacos even though they weren’t on the menu and he was obnoxious. Muchos gracias Diego. Enjoy the job. Keep up the good work.

3 Week Holiday

Enjoyed a three week holiday as a couple. Great to see some old staff again and meet some new faces. Josefina at LaBamba, Guillerno and Captain Christen at Amalfi, Pedros (Bellman), Marcos and Kevin at the Beach Club. All these individuals made our stay exceptional and made you feel like family. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Laura and Bernardo in the Volare Lobby Bar. Suggestions for improvements would be new mattresses for the rooms and better care of the lounge chairs at the beach club. Always had to wipe the cushions down every morning as they were covered in sand. Thanks again for a great time.

Imagine arriving after a long enough travel day, excited to get to the beach and begin the pleasurable part of your vacation. Before you get any resort information or the wristband that gives you food and drink access, the front desk rings a bell and hands you over to time share salespeople who sit down and chat with you, looking for angles to use to start their pitch. No, I do NOT want a 4 hour breakfast presentation in exchange for vouchers for discount massages or a day at the beach club. We have been places that had time share people in the lobby asking to speak to you, but NEVER as an integral part of check in. Shame on Marival. And it is a shame, because otherwise the resort and all the other staff are wonderful. Echo what others have said about a la carte reservations (hard to get). This would be a wonderful place for those with kids due to kids pool and programs. Who knows - maybe they only pester those who arrive without children, but that check in time share experience will prevent me from ever going here again.
