The best birthday ever Mr. Wander M. went up and beyond the call of duty to make sure my guest and I was treated right. The service that we receive make it hard to travel back to Houston. I highly recommend this resort.??????@ rodeo grill Punta Cana

We spent the most amazing 2 weeks in this resort ,everything’s was beautiful, immaculate, staff was thoughtful, courteous and available, food was delicious. Our rooms were lovely, everywhere spotlessly clean, we enjoyed the pool and the beach, the daily entertainment programmes, staff all so friendly and good fun My family and I will be back.

My wife and I stayed at this resort in early July. This was our 3rd visit to DR in general, but first time at this specific resort. Our experience over all was great and we will definitely be back with our son and family in the coming years. Below are some pros & cons we'd highlight about the trip. Pros: The food. (The food in general was really good, we only ate at the buffets during our whole stay and never had an issue with the temperature of the foods (which we saw in some reviews was an issue). The are 2 "main" buffets at the resort. 1 near the main building / lobby (open breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the other by the beach area (only available for breakfast and lunch). Both always had TONS of options to choose from. The grounds. (The grounds of the resort, front to back are beautiful, clean, and lots to do) The hotel room w/ swim up pool. (We had a swim up pool room on the adults side. After experiencing this, i might have a hard time getting a "normal" non swim up room. My wife and i loved being able to just relax right outside on our patio and come and go into the pool as we pleased. Was also a bonus to have the pool bar a short swim away. We did have some cons about the hotel room (see in cons section.).) The Butler. (Overall our butler was very nice and always checked in with us, but we didn't really need or use him for anything we needed.) The Cocktails. (The cocktail overall at any bar we went to were very good. We only had one bad experience at the bar by the beach when we ordered a cocktail and there was clearly way to much lime in the drink and we couldn't finish it.) The Beach. (The beach was very clean, spacious, and had tons of seating. We never felt cramped as there was always plenty of seats to choose from.) The Public Restrooms. (This might be weird to "review", but i think should be said. All the restrooms at all times were very clean and never had an issue finding one, as there was always a restroom within sight. The employees. (Almost all employees we encountered were great. They all always said good morning, always seemed happy to assist, and were in general seemed pleased to be there.) Cons: This is not a resort issue at all, but the Punta Cana airport and the way its run, needs to be updated! Every aspect of the airport involved long lines coming and going and most employees there just seemed miserable. The Hotel room. (The rooms, as other reviews have stated, are pretty outdated. Some things in the room in general just seemed very worn, old, broken (i.e our fridge cabinet door was hanging off the hinge, and shower drainage) and moist (i.e the sheets always felt somewhat "wet"). Swim up Patio. (Over all the swim up suite was a great decision, OTHER THAN the area in which the patio beds are have gravel instead of pavers or grass. This would get a little annoying as they would often hurt our feet.) The Restaurant Waiters. (As stated above this is specifically only towards the buffets, but often times the waiters would take quite long to bring any drinks that were ordered. Some instances took over 20mins and constant reminding of what we ordered.) The Beach (As stated above we loved the beach for many reasons, but 1 of the 2 things we didn't like were the constant solicitation of vendors that would come up to us to try and sell jewelry, cigars, and excursions. At first it was fine, but kinda got annoying after 2 days into the trip. Similar to the above about waiters, the waiters and waitresses at the beach took even longer then the restaurants and sometimes just flat out disappeared where i just ended up going and getting drinks myself at the bars near the beach,) The desserts. (While the desserts were "nice and sweet" we felt they were somewhat one noted and lacking in a flavor. They were just sweet little treats to pick on, nothing really great here.)

Sanyel was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I had a guest who happened to be in town last minute and he got him a pass on the resort to stay the night. He worked diligently with the director to get approval for no additional cost outside of the wristband. Give him a raise!

The resort has many attractions, the rooms are big, beds are comfortable I loved the jacuzzi in the room. Great restaurants and more importantly Amazing, friendly, polite staff all across the resort, my butler Samuel was amazing he provided excellent service and hospitality to me and the rest of my family we were 29 in total. He checked with us every day if we were okay, if we needed anything, made reservations for dinners, went above and beyond decorating our rooms for our birthdays, checking out when someone did not feel good. We were there for 7 days he welcomed us and he makes sure we made it to the airport on our last day. Thank you Samuel and staff at the Majestic Colonial Punta Cana. Hasta la próxima ??
