Amazing vacation at Ambar. Definitely worth the money

We stayed at the Ambar in October 2025. First time ever staying at this resort. We were totally impressed with everything. The buffet was great. A little more variety sometimes would have been nice. I don't eat seafood, so choices that night were more limited. The desserts were delicious. Breakfast we always got an omelet made fresh by Miguel. He always had a smile on his face. You can tell he loved his job. Our room was great. Big and spacious. Mini bar was stocked daily. Plenty of activities going on around the pool. This was great as we played water volleyball. Got to meet some great people from around the world. The " pool ladies" never let your drinks get empty. Bianca,Desiree and Stephania kept the drinks flowing and helped with anything you needed. Our last day there was a foam pool party which was awesome. The resort manager Orlando, and his staff were amazing. Juan Carlo was a great help also. There are many restaurants at the resort. We mostly ate at the Palmyra Buffet. We also ate at Portfino and MEAT . We give this resort 5 stars. Definitely can't wait to go back again next year

This is my second visit to the Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar Resort. I come back again and again because it is a truly wonderful resort. My review is a genuine review from someone who brings his family again and again for the best vacation. Almost everything is perfect here: 1. The food is delicious and varied. 2. Only for adults, no screaming children or barking dogs. 3. Perfect cleanliness everywhere (separate workers sweep the sand on the sidewalk (even from your feet when you are lying on the sun loungers), clean the faucets until they shine, trim the bushes, comb the grass and sand). 4. Security along the perimeter and inside. 5. The buildings are restored and well-maintained, the floors shine like a mirror. 6. The pool is perfect. 7. The bars and drinks in them are excellent. 7. The entertainment team is beyond praise. Respect to them. They are true professionals. 8. Games, concerts, and parties are held every day, and no one is disturbed; everything is very harmonious. 9. The beach is cleared of algae by a tractor every day, and then by hand all day long. The entire staff is very hardworking and friendly. Now a few words about the negative aspects that the management needs to correct. 1. All the sun loungers on the beach are occupied by towels or personal belongings, although the beach is practically empty, there are no vacationers. This is because people arrive at night and reserve sun loungers for the whole day, only to return after lunch for half an hour. Therefore, I can't come to the beach and relax on a sun lounger whenever I want. I have to arrive at night to find a free sun lounger. This is disgusting. I paid for my vacation and have the right to relax on the beach whenever I want, and not stand in line for a free sun lounger. 2. I couldn't choose the room I wanted during online checkout; the website didn't give me this option (although the first time I had the opportunity to choose). 3. The Portofino and Limo restaurants have become much worse; I won't go there again. Everything else was wonderful. I definitely recommend this resort. It's pure paradise.
