Alex and the staff at Rosso Resturant were super attentive, kind, and made sure our glasses were always topped up! Squeezed us in even though we forgot our reservation. Food was good, nicely presented and came quickly! Recommend to anyone visiting this resort :)

We visited Melia Caribe in April and stayed for 2 weeks. We booked Family beach side room, which was nice and spacious. I would advise to ask for top floor room instead of ground floor. We moved next day after arrival (same block 26, just top floor) and it was much nicer. Thank you Maximo at reception for accommodating us. He was great throughout our stay and helped with every request and query we had. The resort looks beautiful, well done to gardeners for maintaining it well. We also wondered around adult and level sides , which were also well maintained and beautiful. Our housekeeper (Mary or Maria) , who worked in block 26 was amazing. We didn’t require service every day, but when we did , she made sure to leave it clean and nicely decorated with flowers etc. it was so nice of her to do that. Of course, we tipped every person, who did a great job. A special thank you and well done goes to entertainment team!!! They were amazing! From classes at the pool to foam party to white party at the beach they’ve done a great job. Such a great atmosphere and energy around them. “Sexy Body” was very friendly and made us laugh a lot. Such a nice guy. We enjoyed our stay. Silent disco was also a hit. Our son loved water park. Nice area for kids to enjoy and have fun. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the service at Rumba restaurant. We went there almost every day and every time most of the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. No smiles, you had to ask many times for things like water, coffee, cutlery, glasses etc. and every time staff looked like they were doing us a huge favour. Of course, there were couple nice staff members , but the majority was shockingly miserable and not customer orientated. Merkado restaurant was better. Mostly nice, welcoming faces. I know they do cross over from rumba to Merkado, but ,somehow , second one was better in regards to customer experience. The food was ok. I agree with other reviews, nothing special. Compare to other Melia resorts in other countries, food here is not that great. Italian restaurant was terrible, nothing Italian about it. No pizza, pasta was very salty. It was 6 of us and no one enjoyed their meal. Same goes for grill restaurant. We have enjoyed our stay a lot and had a wonderful holiday. However, there are few things that can be easily improved.

“Mackendy” spa helped us book our spa. The spa was an amazing experience would definitely continue to come back. The massage was just the right pressure and the facial felt wonderful??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Sangre y Rasa drink at the sapphire bar is amazing- great service from Franklyn! Overall the stay was good. Room was nice, food was pretty good, and the beach was beautiful. Some hiccups here and there, but mostly a great time away. Glad to see that this place is still doing well. We came about 9 years ago.

The staff are wonderful, always delivering with a smile and try their best with english. Always accommodating. Wanted to change rooms on the first day due to the bed situation and they were happy to accommodate us. Plenty of events and activities during the day and night. Thoroughly enjoyed it here. The atmosphere is amazing and rare to come across at other places. It is beautiful here.
