We stayed at the Level. Our concierge Nate was awesome! He made all of our dinner reservations for us. We had a 2 bedroom suite, it was spacious and very clean. The waiters were very nice, and the live entertainment was great!
Confusing and misleading

I am writing this review on our stay, first the good things the facility is good pool is awesome staff are super friendly and happy to help. So why the bad rating dinner reservation are a nightmare- first they tell you for Level guest your concierge will make the reservation nothing happens then they tell you on Sunday reservations open for the week so you can book it yourself on the app. Nothing happens the app does not have that feature. Then they tell you they will make the reservation and still nothing so after a week of stay you end up eating at buffet all week long not my idea of vacation. This is bad management not a problem with staff as they looked as confused as we were. So although we loved everything else about this place we will not be coming back
Excellent Resort, Great Food, Wonderful Staff. We will return.

We stayed at other Melia / Paradisus resorts in the past and decided to book The Level Grand Suite at the Melia Caribe Beach resort in Punta Cana this time. We visited the resort from June 13 through June 23, 2022. The check-in was swift, the suite was spacious and clean and conveniently located across Riviera, the restaurant exclusively available to The Level guests. We experienced very few, minor issues related to the access to our room and maid service, which were immediately taken care of thanks to our concierge Reynardo Sanchez, who was always pleasant, helpful, and professional. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, which includes the beach (we visited both the general and Level sections) as well, where crews cleaned up some seaweed on a daily basis, which did not bother us at all. During our stay, we mostly ate at Riviera (always excellent) and Tartufo (average to excellent, dependent on time and other guests - some were obnoxious, disrespectful of other diners and especially staff, whom we admired for being able to keep their pleasant demeanor), but we also had a number of reservation-only dinners at Riviera, Capri, and Alma, which were always excellent. We ate lunch at Mercator a couple of times, which was underwhelming mainly (in our opinion) due to other guests, who were messy, rude, and made it challenging for the staff to keep the dining and buffet area clean and replenish buffet items swiftly. Our kids (5 and 8) spent a few hours several days at the kids club, which both liked very much. The adjacent water park was a hit as well, which all four of us enjoyed on several occasions. We also enjoyed several of the evening / night programs, which we can recommend to others as well. My wife and I worked out in the gym several times, which was always clean and attended by always-pleasant staff. It had a good selection of equipment and machines, but a couple were somewhat defective (e.g. several weights on the lat/row cable machine were broken, so my wife could not use it, emergency stop on one treadmill fell off during use - really no big deal, as other treadmills were available) Towards the end of our stay, we also booked a family photo session on premise, which was fun for all four of us and resulted in truly awesome photos. Of all the all-inclusive resorts we have stayed at in the last 15+ years, which comprise Club Med, Hyatt Ziva, Paradisus, and Melia resorts, overall this has been our best to second best experience (on par with a much pricier resort in Mexico). We definitely will come back here. Thank you to the Melia Caribe Beach team for this wonderful vacation and the many beautiful memories!

My good friend is getting married here. When we arrived we had to wait 2+ hours to check in. The bridal suite was to have a welcome package.. and nothing was there which is very disappointing. My boyfriend and I upgraded for $350USD to get a better room and not worth it. They told us we would get a beach front jacuzzi room and it’s not even close. It’s a first floor basic family room about 10 minutes from the beach. I wouldn’t recommend booking here if you don’t have to. Go somewhere else. I’d presume more of our group are going to write bad reviews shortly. It’s only our first day here… lol

Our concierge Nathan provided outsanding service to our family. We were a party of 7 between me and my sister's family. We connected through Whatsapp and anything we needed, from dinner reservations to something in the room, we contacted him directly. We didn't need to contact front desk or housekeeping at all. The lobby of this hotel is beautiful and evening entertainment was fantastic. Great music and staff. Would definitely go back. We paid extra to be on the "Level" side and it was worth every penny! Thank you to Nathan and the Melia Caribe for a great family vacation.
