My stay at Meliá Caribe Beach Resort was extremely disappointing and not reflective of a 5-star property. A 90-minute, understaffed check-in with missing wristbands set the tone. “Level” benefits and resort logistics were never explained. Dining was limited, reservations scarce, and staff largely disengaged. Our room had major issues—poor beds, flooding from the HVAC—and inoperable phones, leaving us unable to get help. WhatsApp concierge support was unresponsive. Transportation relied on inconsistent golf carts, and departure required hauling luggage with two young children. Overall, not worth the cost and far from relaxing.

I had 2 treatments during my stay by Mary Darling. I had a deep tissue massage and a relaxing 30 minute back and shoulders. Mary was an incredible masseuse and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Extremely relaxing and one of the best massages I have had. Thank you again!
