Following a recent trip, there are definitely various pros and cons to this resort. Great idea having the wristband as your room key however ours were not working on the first day which resulted in back and forth to reception after a long day of travelling. Once in the rooms, there is definitely a damp smell and a lot of water damage throughout. First impressions were disappointing, albeit they are spacious and the beds comfortable. Also the door to the shower did not fully open or fully close. Used/dirty towels were not always replaced by the maids when left on the floor and were just re-folded and placed back on the shelf. The pools were great, warm and large however a bit grimey and there was never an issue to get a sunbed. But getting towels from the hut was difficult. One day there were no towels and it took nearly an hour to wait for fresh ones to be delivered, whilst getting the bible preached by the guy working there. The sunbeds were particularly dodgy. I would recommend checking the underneath and sides before sitting as many were broken. The food was particularly disappointing. And it was very hit or miss if you’d be offered any drinks at mealtimes and if you did, sometimes they wouldn’t arrive at all when someone did take your drinks order. And we found the coke/lemonade etc to be flat as seemed to be poured from bottles during our trip. Many of the staff were particularly rude and we certainly did not feel it was a 5 star resort or service. But a special mention to the few that did make an effort and we had a good time with. Jennifer, Leo, Estafany, Erika and Crisel. A big thank you to those! And a quick note about the beach.. wow the seaweed was just overwhelming. Soo so much. Certainly not worth fighting with and therefore did not enjoy the beach. Overall we made the best of our holiday, however will not be making a return.

Lovely stay with amazing staff. Heriberto was very entertaining at the El Beso pool and had great games and music. Buffet is very consistent and pool bars are a lovely way to chill out. View from the room is amazing looking out onto the beach. Recommend

Rooms are a great size in El Beso section and the pools are good size. Activity pool is massive and entertainment was perfect . Heriberto and the team were amazing, never a boring day. Food was mid (had better) but activities and atmosphere is great. TUI messed up the bookings which ruined the start but it ended great.

Love Dominican so much bur what topped it off was Heriberto. Always included in everything and that’s what I love Room is very comfy and cozy always clean when coming back from a long day of getting tan at the pool Would 100% recommend to any coming to DR

love heriberto so much also got the crowed going and and nice person room is very clean and very comfy, pillow i want to take home lol pool is always the perfect temp and drinks aren’t always so strong food is always very good ( coming from a picky eater)
