We just returned from 6 days at the beautiful resort, TRS Turquesa Hotel. We stayed in a swim out junior suite. Our room had a 4 poster bed and was quite nice and comfortable. Our butler was Angel and he was very friendly and helpful. He couldn’t do more to satisfy us. This is the same with all of the staff. They were friendly and tried hard to satisfy us Our swim out pool was beautiful and luxurious. It’s very quiet and relaxing. Very peaceful. There is a bar nearby and the bartender will serve you at the swim out pool if he knows that you are “thirsty”. We mostly used the main pool. Honestly that pool is also fairly quiet. There are activities in the morning at the main pool. We went over Thanksgiving Week so the guests were very international- just a few Americans but I suspect on a different week the clients would be mixed with more Yankees. This is an all-inclusive so food is what it is but I’d say overall that the food was quite good. Helios offers a nice breakfast on the ocean. We are ate at the French restaurant which was good- Japanese restaurant okay Italian okay Helios for dinner good Steak restaurant okay Drinks at this resort flow and you’ll never be in need. The lobby bar at TRS is good and the gin and tonic’s are great Overall, we loved our stay at TRS. We were pampered and happy. Our room was beautiful, the beach beautiful,the pools beautiful. Highly recommend

i have love coming here to spend vacation time. the people at the hotel make the difference. everybody is so welcoming. the rooms are great and housekeeping do a great job. transport in the property to move around is really good and efficient. in general me and my family had a great time. thank you for your excellent service.

First - lets start with the positives: Very well maintained property consisting of 4 Resorts back to back, all accessible to us during the stay. Rooms are clean, although some things were broken. Staff was extremely friendly and bars were literally on EVERY corner. Buffet options were OK, not great and service at restaurants was also OK... Our room was very close to the beach and the pools. Beach was very well maintained with plenty of shade or tanning options. Now - the not so great.... All of the menus at the restaurants were through QR codes on the phone and booking A La Carte restaurants, getting daily entertainment, etc, were all supposed to be done through their App. First of all - the last thing I want to do on a vacation is drag my phone everywhere with me! Second - the App is horrible! It took us 4 days to realize that we could get a daily Entertainment calendar view in the App because it was buried 5 levels deep! Which brings me to communication of what entertainment is actually available at the 4 resorts! This information isn't posted anywhere outside of the App! We found a bulletin board next to the towel station by the pool that had printed list of what's happening, but it was very incomplete. Now - about the entertainment options - no night club, no music at the beach, 1 show per night for all 4 resorts with VERY Bad singers and dancers (it's like a parody) and live music at 1 of the 4 resorts per night for 2-3 hours (which was pretty good). THATS IT! Bars were always full because there was very little else to do! No screen door on balcony, so had to sleep with door closed due to mosquitos (we love hearing the ocean at night, but ...).

It is a beautiful resort. The food is not the best, but we are not going there for the food. The drinks are okay . The friendly staff definitely made up for the lack of quality drinks and poor food.

We are just wrapping up our 5th visit. Obviously we love this resort. The food and location are wonderful but for us it’s the staff that make our experience memorable. Special shout out to Delores, Angela, Stephanie, Oscar, Xiu (pronounced See-you), Migel, Abesard. Hope to see you again!
