The resort is nice, though it is an older property, and the staff were good. Our butler Jean was especially helpful and responsive with reservations and requests. Another butler, Melody was also pleasant and supportive. We experienced an issue upon arrival. We arrived at the resort around 9 am after an all night flight. We understood that check in was not until 3 pm and asked if early check in might be possible. We were told by the front desk that this could be accommodated once the room was cleaned and that we should remain in the lobby so we could be notified when the room was ready. Unfortunately, the room was not available until close to 3 pm, and the advice to stay in the lobby was not ideal. Had we been advised differently, we could have spent that time enjoying other areas of the resort or the beach. Our flight and hotel arrangements were made through a travel agency, so we did not have control over arrival timing. A room related issue also affected our stay. There is a sign on the balcony door stating that the air conditioning will not run if the door is open. What it does not indicate is that if the balcony door is closed from the outside, it automatically locks, leaving you locked out on the balcony. There is no warning about this. This occurred on our first full day at the resort. We were unable to get back into the room until management accessed it through the front door. Management apologized and offered free resort perks, which we appreciated, but we still lost a significant portion of the day, and it affected our ability to enjoy the resort for some time afterward. We were told this is an intentional security feature, but the lack of clear signage is a concern and easily preventable. Because of these experiences, we would offer a cautious recommendation.

Every little detail was perfect, racks to hang purses and bags on in restaurants. Real hand towels in public lobby washroom. Trolley service amazing. Great assortment of food. Great drinks. Wonderful activities such as wine and art on beach Rooms are beautiful comfy beds. Towel service amazing Only thing I hated. Too many people on beach bugging us for boat trips , hair braids, picture with a bird or lizard. Not even 5 min between someone wanting to sell me something. I’d prefer. No boats no birds no braids no beads. I like to nap on beach undisturbed. But we will definitely come back to this resort

Had a wonderful time. Butler service was exceptional and the spa was amazing. Will definitely look forward to coming back.
