Not a good experience - would not recommend!

Overpriced; service was terrible (too many issues to mention); we went w/high expectations due to all the good reviews; spent more than any other 5* resorts we have stayed;very disappointed! Only saving grace was the included spa facilities!

No going back.

The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the food is very good, But we are not going to come back to this hotel. 1. The lines to get breakfast. We do not want to spent 15-20 min staying in line :((( Or you come for breakfast and there is no person to check you in :((( You wait again. 2. The mattresses on the beach chairs are very old and dirty. 3. You want a place by the quiet pool?? Please get up at 6am and mark your place with towels. 4. All inclusive?? Does it mean that we don't need to carry cash with us?? EVERYWHERE we went - beach, pool, restaurants - people left tips. I always assumed that you leave tips at the end of your stay. obviously not at this hotel. 5. We saw a massage chair guy by the big pool. I ask: "How much is massage?" He answers: "Its free, but you MUST pay tips". If you have no cash with you - no massage. 6. Fire alarms all over the hotel. The first night we were woken up by it at 3am. Got scared, could not understand what is going on. Next night the same story. Then we heard it during the day. Imagine being woken up at 3am and then trying to get a place by the quiet pool at 6am. I don't call it a good stay.

Hoping they bring back the Grand Experience back to the resort.

Another amazing vacation. We took our son and daughter in law. They loved it. Humberto and Alejandro are the best. They remember us every time and make it the best experience. Mirna well what can you say about Mirna other than she is a great person and asset to the Grand. Luigi I know I am spelling it wrong but he makes the Mixology the best place to be in the resort.Emilio in the Gourmet is one of our favorites and very knowledgeable about the menu and just gives great costumer service. Toni’s is once again the best restaurant and never disappoints. We have noticed that the advantages of being a loyal guest no longer matters as they are catering to the prestige guests. Now i don’t know what happened but we have never been treated so disrespected EVER by any grand employee as we were treated by Suzanne at the beach front la brisa lunch. She absolutely refused to serve us we had to go get our own drinks and water and she served everyone who walked up but would not serve us at all. I was not aware that they did not have a menu that week and was Bar_b -q only so when i asked her for the menu she laughed and said don’t you know no menu this week.. then went on to serve everyone one else. I did bring it to the attention of the women supervisor, petite dark hair women but she also after hearing me out ignored us. Not the normal for the grand but very disrespectful. Italian restaurant was horrible and the quality of the food was very disappointing. We still had a great time because of the Employees I mentioned in the beginning but hope they bring the Grand Experience back to the grand.

We’ve been to Cancun multiple times and the Grand has cemented itself as THE destination. I can’t say enough good things about it. Full access to the other resorts on the property, just ask for a ride to wherever you want to go on the golf carts. Mi familia mi hermano Alejandro y mi hermana Guadalupe - we can not wait to come back and see you again! Thanks to everyone at the Grand for an amazing 5 days.

Simply the best

Simply the best. Great pools, great and beautiful heated spa pool, refurbished rooms, good food and The best enterteiment team. Roman and Viridiana especially, but everybody else was also fun. Loved karaoke, Yoga in the pool, won rock trivia, the shows. Even riding around the hotel by kart was fun. Beautiful Nice beach. Great service by the beach. This is Luciana from Brazil, we are definitely coming back!
