Beautiful location, great food and friendly personnel. This was our 2nd year staying at the Hideaway and we will definitely be back.

The resort is overall an excellent resort. The food is very good in Ventanas, Palazzo and Azia for dinner. The breakfast and lunch was very good at The Grill. I wasn't keen on Spices for breakfast, it took too long to get our food, so The Grill was the best spot for breakfast. Room Service menu was good. We ordered coffee to come everyday at 7am and it was always on time. The cons were that there were never enough chairs by the 2 pools to accommodate all their guests. The chairs are very nice and comfortable by the pool, but we ended up on the beach chairs a number of times. The beach chairs were uncomfortable.

This is our second time at this resort. We love it here! Service is amazing and friendly, food is outstanding and we loved the entertainment. It is a very relaxing environment and our concierge Oscar Garcia met our every need. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. I wish they would upgrade the suites as they really need some work. Our sink had no plugs and almost lost my jewellery down the sink! We did bring it to the manager’s attention in the beginning of our stay but nothing was done about it. The shower leaked water and the tub had black stuff in the jets.(Would not have a bath anyways) The patio doors needed two hand to open. We were very happy the air conditioning worked great. The grounds are very well manicured. Yes we will return to this tranquil place. Was a beautiful 10 days there! The beach is most amazing I might add! : )

The resort was very well maintained and the service was excellent. The resort was not too crowded and we never had issues getting beach chairs. The seaweed was well managed and cleaned almost everyday. We had a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend for couples.

This was our second time here, so that says something. We like the relatively smaller size of the place. The location in Playacar, a gated community, couldn't be better. It's only about 1-1/2 mile walk into town (Playa Del Carmen), which we did every morning before breakfast, and then up 5th avenue and back. Food at all of the restaurants was excellent. All staff members we encountered were courteous and professional. We'll be back again!
