Following American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent announcement of its "Safe Stay Guest Checklist"—and following medical expert guidance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19—all Hyatt hotels in the U.S. and Canada will require face coverings within indoor public areas beginning Monday, July 27, for the foreseeable future.
Public areas may include hotel lobbies, meetings and events spaces, restaurants and bars, and fitness centers. Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions, guests consuming food or beverages in restaurants, and children under the age of 2.

Terrible customer service

I had a terrible experience at this Hyatt property. After my plans changed, the hotel refused to offer any credit or adjustment— even for later nights that were still 3–4 days away from check-in. I was not asking for a full refund. I would have been fine with a credit, and even fine with losing the first night. Instead, I was met with the same rigid “no” at every step. I spoke with multiple staff members and escalated all the way to the hotel manager, and no one was willing or able to help in any way. The consistent lack of flexibility and customer service was extremely disappointing. Because of how this was handled, neither I nor anyone in my company will be staying at any Hyatt property again.

This was a wonderful experience. We loved using my Globalist status. We loved the staff, activities available, food, cleanliness.
