We stayed at Royalton St. Lucia. We had a butler suite. The room was more than we could’ve expected as for the food during the week of our experience. The food was below par. The entrée portions made it so that you needed to order two entrées to have a meal, especially at the specialty restaurants. The buffet food was good, although not outstanding. Now let’s talk about the service, the staff at the hotel were wonderful. The diamond bar Grill, especially Inga, were the best they took care of us, learned our names and treated wonderfully. Our maid was the best she was non-intrusive. She was pleasant, happy, and welcoming. Our butlers Merkel was good, but the big shout out goes to Shamma. She made her stay awesome, she was attentive, happy and always willing to help. Hopefully her son will like the hat we brought him. Overall, I give the resort a three out of five, but the staff 4.5 out of five.

We only had a 25min massage but it felt like a hour! Absolutely amazinggggggg! The staff and atmosphere was great! I will definitely be back

We had diamond club with a swim out room (8001) the absolute best views. Our butlers Neil & Monique were amazing. They felt like home! Neil the humble brother who just quietley does as you need! Monique the fun cousin who came to stay for the week bringing joy to our lives. They really made our holiday and my mums birthday amazing! Thankyou guys, we hope to come back and have you both again.
Worst honeymoon experience, stay FAR AWAY!!

Stay far far far away from this place!!! We are on our honeymoon and planned to spend nine days at the Royalton and day. 1 was so bad that we requested to check out and go somewhere else. Where do I begin with the list of problems this place has….the locals and the staff are so nice but the management is absolutely horrible. They refused to give us a refund unless we signed a legally binding document that we would not write a review about what we saw here. Myhusband and I did not sign it and I want everyone to know how awful this location is. We arrived at 10 o’clock Tuesday night and by Wednesday night I was in tears in the management office. Worst honeymoon experience ever and I am so glad that we checked out and went somewhere else because we were going to be miserable there. My husband and I aren’t picky and we are very well traveled. We understand things can happen and are easy-going people, but how management treated us, is why I’m writing this review On our first day of our honeymoon at the Royalton our safe broke twice and we could not leave the room because we had to wait for security to come and open our safe so we lost hours doing that 2x on our first day. Then the door to our room was broken and we had to wait an hour to get into our room. We could not get a dinner reservation until 830 on our first night there and my husband needed to eat before 8:30. At 6PM we went to three of their restaurants which were ALL half empty and yet none of them could accommodate two people for dinner. After speaking to management, they got us into a restaurant and we waited an hour and a half and still had not eaten any food and at that point requested our meals to go. My husband left me at dinner because he was so angry with the situation. after speaking to management again about how horrible our first day was, my husband and I ordered room service so that we could eat dinner and they couldn’t even get our room service meal correct. We only received two of our three orders and only one utensil set when we are two people so my husband and I shared a fork. Barrington, the manager that I spoke to that evening told me that I could speak to Gabriel the next morning if we wanted to check out and that he came in at 9 AM. At 9 AM on day 2, I called the front office to speak to him and he was in a managers meeting. Knowing the issues we were having he should have called us immediately before stepping into his meeting but we don’t matter, the customers don’t matter. I went to the lobby and waited for 1.5 hours while no manager could step out of their meeting to try to make our experience better. after waiting an hour and a half Gabriel still did not come speak to me and the manager Ronald came out and told me he would work on getting us a refund for the unused days of our trip. Granted we had stayed there for about 30 hours and had a terrible experience and they refused to give us a refund unless we signed a document that we would not talk about what happened. I told Gabriel and Ronald that we would not sign a document to shut us up and that it was extortion and that they were already trying to keep $1500 for 30 hours of a terrible experience,. My husband saw a man pull his private parts out and pee in front of children literally in front of the main lobby. My husband yelled at him from the balcony that it was not OK for him to do that and he reported it to the management/Ronald. My husband wanted to file a police report and Ronald refused and because we care about keeping children safe they didn’t want to give us a refund. Ronald then lied in front of his boss Gabriel and said that we could file a police report and that he had not refused to do so, which is a lie. This is not a safe place for children or families to visit and the fact that they want us to sign a document that we won’t speak out about what happened there, tells me that they deal with this a lot and this is how they keep people quiet about what’s really going on there. I couldn’t even make a reservation at another resort until I knew whether or not they were going to give us a refund because we can’t pay for two honeymoons and so the second morning of my honeymoon was spent frantically trying to find a place for my husband and I to stay for the rest of our honeymoon bc management refused to even speak to me about our issues that morning. When I finally got to speak to the head guy Gabriel, and I was upset about the document that they wanted us to sign, he decided that he was not going to give us a refund at all just because I wasn’t happy and was voicing my concerns. I’ve worked in the hotel and restaurant industry and part of being a manager is knowing how to diffuse the situation and make your customers happy and Gabriel and Ronald are utter failures and should be fired We are so grateful that we left the Royalton, all of the locals here have said how awful the Royalton has become. please please please go somewhere else and trust me not to waste your money at this awful resort that does not care about its guests or your experience.. So many guests are unhappy there and I came across someone else on their honeymoon that was also having an awful experience as well as another guest that was also having a bad experience. So it wasn’t just my husband and I. My husband and I care deeply about keeping children safe and they refused to allow my husband to file a police report against the man who pulled out his private parts in front of children. So the resort is refusing to give us a refund and my husband and I are going to continue to advocate for keeping children safe regardless of them trying to keep us quiet. please go somewhere else and enjoy your vacation elsewhere.

We just returned from our 7 day stay and had a great experience. We stayed at the Hideaway with Diamond Club access. The room was clean, and the restaurants were lovely. We had an oceanfront view and enjoyed seeing the sunset each day from our balcony. We enjoyed the beach, pools, and spa! Fantastic massages! What made our stay extraordinary were our butlers, Kurtney and Raymond. Their joyful dispositions and exquisite attention to detail and care assured that our trip was stress-free and enjoyable. They displayed great enthusiasm, attention to detail, and knowledge of the resort. They were incredibly fun and we will miss them!1 We also were so appreciative of our wonderful taxi driver, Merle, who took us out to experience the island. She was a great tour guide!
