Comfortable Stay with Great Location and Exceptional Service
Raiza G on Jan 05, 2025
Our stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Vancouver was fantastic! The hotel is in a prime location, conveniently close to the Science Museum, Rogers Arena, and BC Place, making it perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family. The breakfast was delightful, with a variety of fresh, hot options that catered perfectly to both kids and adults. The staff were warm and welcoming—Leah, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel at home with her friendly and accommodating demeanor. One small suggestion for improvement would be to include complimentary bathrobes and slippers to enhance the overall experience. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we’d happily return!

Great hotel in perfect location

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Taylor Swift concert. Despite the very busy weekend, the service was great. Everyone who worked at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. The housekeeper asked us what time we wanted our room cleaned each day and followed through. Room was nice, comfortable bed and good breakfast (standard Hampton Inn). Hotel has a great rooftop deck. Great location near BC Place and Robson St. shopping. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Vancouver.
DO NOT BOOK OVER PHONE
Raelyn K on Oct 06, 2024
I booked a room for the Lainey Wilson concert in September over the phone with their reservation company. The agent originally gave me the pricing in USD, which I have a US number but live in Canada so understandable. I checked my visa right after booking to realize it was a lot more then I intended to spend on a hotel so I called back within 20 mins of my booking to cancel. Spoke to another agent who confirmed my cancellation and that I would receive my refund. I still hadn’t seen my refund so called back the day we were heading to the concert to confirm that yes we are being refunded. The agent said no the cancellation has not been made and it is now past the date where I can cancel. I let the agent know that I have already booked a new place to stay and that I indeed already canceled on the same day I booked. He looked through the system and say oh yes I did cancel but there was an error in the system (obviously not my fault). I again stated I would not be coming to this hotel as I have another hotel booked to which they said ok yes we have opened an investigation and will refund you soon. Cut to went to the concert (she was great) to the second cheaper not very nice hotel. Did not come to this hotel, called back and spoke with another agent who told me my cancellation was denied because it was past the cancellation……. So not only did they not cancel my reservation they also charged me for the whole night and still haven’t rectified the issue on their end. Wow terrible customer service and I will be opening an investigation through my cc. Do not book with their reservation desk via phone they are HORRIBLE. My photos show the two calls as well as the reservation. The second call was to cancel. Yep still waiting on my refund.
Great hotel for Rocky Mountaineer travelers

The Hampton Inn and suites was a fine hotel to stay in before our Rocky Mountaineer train…one of the nicest Hampton Inns I have stayed at. The Rocky Mountaineer uses the 3rd floor ballroom to check you in the night before. Check-in was easy. We had a nice room and their was a bar with food downstairs. Easy walk to many places downtown. I would recommend…especially if you are taking the Rocky Mountaineer.
