Lobby was tiny and cramped due to construction. Room way too hot resulting in two nights of very poor sleep. Kept setting thermostat to 62 but room remained forever at 70. Turned off completely only to find it on again in the evening. In room coffee set-up old and coffee poor. Parking garage felt cramped Would not return.

Worst Experience of my life.

This hotel did not accept our credit card even though we had funds available. They were not willing to allow me to speak with a manager to resolve the problem and turned a pregnant couple away. The staff were not empathetic and were not willing to accept an alternative payment over the phone or via debit. We were forced to travel home and miss our concert. Very disappointed and would not recommend this property to anyone.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 2 of us so we had a room with 2 double beds. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a corner room with 2 large windows to see the city. I loved that the bathroom had the shower head and the handheld shower head. The bathroom vent didn't seem to work very well. The hotel is located downtown close to shopping and restaurants within walking distance. There is paid parking in an underground garage. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare, nothing special-although it was at the same time every day, even on weekends. I thought it was odd that they didn't have a microwave in the dining area. We didn't spend much time in the hotel but we enjoyed our stay. I would stay again.

Good location, poor quality service and amenities

The location was great. The quality of service sucked. We were told we couldn’t park in the parking garage below the hotel as it could only fit vehicles up to 6ft tall. Later we found out that the sign above the parking garage was rated for 6’ 5” vehicles. So the lady at the from blatantly lied to us. Which caused us to get a parking ticket looking for parking elsewhere. We ended up parking at the Sandman Hotel just down the street. Would have stayed there instead if we’d known how much of an inconvenience that Hampton would be.. wouldn’t not recommend. Not worth the money.

Great stay meeting Hampton standards

Second one night stay at this location this year, still consistently good meeting Hampton standard on service and accommodation. Location is good as well. Used parking this time and was smooth sailings. Would stay again.
