My wife and I visited the Tainos from Chicago last month for two weeks, we researched several hotels on the peninsula and decided to return for our third stay at the Tainos. The people are the reason we returned. We have stayed at other hotels in Cuba, but none have people that compare to those at the Tainos. Twelve years ago was our last stay and Fernando is as good as he was always one hundred percent! The entertainment team is why we return, Rosario, Yordan, Saine, Evis, Yoandry, and the entire team, THANK YOU, you made our trip perfect!!!! We attended the Tropicana in Habana and I will say the performers at the Tainos perform with infinitely more passion. Another reason is the beach, walking into the ocean is like walking on carpet, as far as you want to go, and with a few nearby hotels closing the beach feels chill and remote. There are more than enough chairs every day. And a very cool bartender at the beach bar! The food is fine, it is Cuba and there are days when they may not have everything but we always have a good meal. I noticed some complaints about the lack of certain items, maybe Cuba is not for you, be a traveler, not a tourist, and find the good wherever you travel. As far as the liquor, I go for the rum, and there are plenty of other choices. I also want to mention Yudel and Raisel, the bartenders at Las Palmas, they are great! Also would like to mention Yania, the girl in the blue in the lobby, she always had the answer and we appreciated her as we did all of the front desk agents! Late night snack, Chef William made a better burger than I have had anywhere in Cuba and beyond, and he made good company! This is only a short list of names I remember, but all employees at the Tainos should be commended! Sorry if we missed someone.

We went and stayed at the Iberostar Tainos for two weeks for our second time again this past February. We got married on the beach on February 8. It was an amazing wedding. The beach was wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. It is a wonderful hotel and we will be going back next February for our one year wedding anniversary. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are the most friendly people you will ever meet. We especially love Beatriz Fernandez who works in the buffet restaurant. She is one of the friendliest waitresses you could ever meet. It was so great to have her serve us. We love all of the staff at the hotel. It is our favourite hotel of all time. We highly recommend it.

Planning our 7th trip back to this amazing place. Beautiful beach,good food,great weather. We have fallen in love with the place, but more so with the people. Beatrice in the restaurant, welcomes you like family and her big smile lights up the room. She, and all the other amazing people are the reason we will always find a way to return .

We went on vacation last April my husband and I, we had perfect weather a wonderful trip. Great experience , beautiful beach, excellent service from a lovely Beatriz Fernandez always with a beautiful smile. We will surely return some day?? Thank you

The hotel is very cozy and nice in a rustic style with a big green area. It has an incredibly beautiful beach with the light soft sand and amazing ocean ?? The beach is always clean and spacious, free sunbeds were also available. The food is quite good, there is a lot to choose from, but very few vegetables. Rooms are nice and clean, but every day we had a trouble with magnetic cards, they didn’t work and we had to recharge them constantly. Hotel staff is very friendly, always ready to help: Daisy (lobby waitress), Yudel (bartender in the lobby) are kind and positive guys who make you feel welcome. Jaime and Osdenys, guys from animation team are cool! Osdenys funny and active is the best in dancing lessons ?? Jaime is always positive and caring with a sunny sincere smile was doing almost all the activities (volleyball, aqua gym, yoga, fitness), he managed to do everything creating a great mood for the guests?? In general it would be nice to have more activities at night, like live music, disco and beach party, cause except for the shows in the stuffy hall, where is nothing to breath, there is nothing to do in the evenings.
