Amazing resort. The friendliest most accommodating staff. Food is fantastic. Pool and beach pristine. Entertainment staff are such great fun. Alex the Social Media Manager is the best and most helpful. Would totally recommend coming here. Jannia from public relations is amazing and the most friendly sexy lady. Manuel the entertainer makes sure everyone is having fun. Drinks are flowing and Julio knows what to pour without asking. Evis is a cracking laugh and great with everyone of all ages

My wife, our 4-year-old daughter, and I joined my father for a week at Iberostar Origin Taínos in February 2026, and despite the widely reported "crisis" in Cuba, our experience has been fantastic. The Service & Recovery Our trip didn't start perfectly—a two-and-a-half-hour flight delay landed us at the resort at 1:00 AM. Initially, we weren't on the ground floor as requested and were missing some room essentials. However, the staff’s "Service Recovery" was impressive. They worked quickly to get us settled and have been incredibly attentive ever since. A little kindness (and tipping) goes a long way here, and the staff truly makes you feel like family. Family & Kids This resort is a paradise for young children. My daughter, has been loving the beach and the pool area. It’s compact enough that it’s easy to navigate with a toddler, but large enough that there’s always something to do. Having my father with us has been a game-changer; the resort’s layout makes it easy for us to have some romantic time as a couple while knowing our daughter is nearby and safe with "Grandpa." The "Crisis" Context We were a bit apprehensive about supply shortages before arriving, but we’ve had no problems. While you might see some repetition in the buffet or certain items missing occasionally, the kitchen staff is incredibly creative. We’ve always had plenty of good food, and the resort feels like a stable, comfortable bubble. Why We’d Come Back The Beach: Truly one of the best stretches in Varadero. The Atmosphere: It’s relaxed, safe, and geared toward families. The Resilience: Seeing how hard the staff works to maintain a 5-star vibe during difficult times is inspiring. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a family-friendly spot that feels personal rather than like a massive "factory" resort, Taínos is the place.

We arrived, February 3, and we are having a great time in this resort, everything is quite beautiful, the gardens are amazing, the food taste and a lot variety, not shortages. Animation team is wonderful and funny, restaurants staff also they guys from snack bar, Julio, Daikin, Wendy and the best coffee from both places ??, Duvier and Jeny are quite friendly and helpful We definitely be back

Really enjoyed this resort. Will be back. Food was awesome, we came back, like I promised before , and it was amazing, Food super star, Albert , Marcelino, Jonathan those people’s are the magicians from the kitchen, Jania from From Public relations, she was really nice with us , the guys from lobby bar I have to mention, Duvier and Jenny, from the entertainment team Adelay, Juanma y Manuer and Brander are the simple the best, we hope to comeback soon
