TripAdvisor Traveler Rating

This was our first Sandals experience. We really enjoyed the all inclusive no kids atmosphere. It was so relaxing and chill. The breakfast buffet was really tasty with a lot of choices; probably the best french toast I've ever had. The dinners at the restaurants were pretty good. Ehat they called Southwestern and TexMex was neither but still good. We found out that we were pool people on this vacation. We went during the off-season so there was room at the very large pool even though we didn't get there till around 10am. There was pizza and hotdogs during the day for lunch. You could walk over, get a snack and go back to your pool lounger to eat it. During the week we were there, we did a couple excursions thru TripAdvisor. This was the one thing I didn't like about the resort offerings. The excursions were essentially the same as on TripAdvisor but they were 30% more expensive. The room was clean and the daily room services were very nice. I would absolutely take a Sandals vacation again.

This resort has the friendliest and professional staff of any resort we have been to. The resort is stunning and sits on beautiful beaches. We will return. The entertainment and food was also great. We enjoyed every minute of our trip!!!!!!

We have had a wonderful time here. The weather has been lovely, the food really good and the staff excellent. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a butler room as our original room was part of the ongoing refurbishment project. Our butlers, Daryn, Shawn and Di were brilliant and we cannot thank them enough for their help. Additionally our housekeeper has been superb. Positives: Butlers Beach No seaweed Food - Kimonos was a treat and great entertainment Pools Staff Location Other slightly less positive bits: WiFi is patchy and slow unless you want to pay for the upgrade. In this day and age at a hotel of Sandals quality then I expect decent WiFi. The accommodation needs updating - they have started through the site but our room felt dated and tired.

Our butlers Dwayne, Shawn, and Dionnia were excellent. Because of the three of them our trip and experience was better than we had expected. Thank you

My husband and I have been to 4 other Sandals and there are no words to explain what an all around great time we had at Antigua. 5 Stars from us! We chose the Mediterranean Village, and our room was really beautiful with a view that overlooked the ocean and the resort. The only disappointment, the Dive shop. We started going to Sandals for the Diving and was looking forward to diving Antigua. But for the first time we were not allowed to go because of the health form - Divers “fill it out before you go on vacation”! There wasn’t a lot of empathy or help from the staff & it could have ruined our trip, but everything else was so great, we decided make the best and enjoy ourselves. It wound up being a positive though, because we sat by the pool every day and relaxed, met great people in the pool and at the bar. The bar staff was awesome and I can’t say enough about the drinks they were The housekeeping was the best I’ve experienced at Sandals. Our room was always immaculate, and we were well taken care of by Ilianna :). The grounds were so pretty with the statues and flowers ?? The kitty cats were fun, just hanging out or being friendly. We lived in Mario’s and the Bayside!!! All the wait staff and hosts/hostesses were great! The chef at Mario’s would create a new risotto every night, and they were delicious. ?? I only regret not renting a car for the day and seeing the island. When we come back, my husband and I are going to remedy that.
