This has definitely become my favorite vacation spot just from the amazing staff at Sandals! Everyone has been so friendly and kind and always willing to help. The Bayside restaurant and staff were incredible and the spa was amazing. This was the best hot stone massage I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and I thank Kayan and Bev so deeply for their expertise. Truly an amazing destination spot with so many fun things to do around the island and a resort that makes you hardly want to leave! A true slice of paradise is found here in Antigua and Barbuda!

What a stunning place this is! It was such a perfect honeymoon from start to finish - we didn't want to leave! Room We stayed for 14 nights in the newly rennovated Sunset Bluff rooms which were gorgeous and had everything we needed during our stay. It was the perfect location set far enough away from the main hub of the resort but close enough to both the Caribbean side and Mediterranean side. We did have one night where our mini fridge wasn't stocked and no turn down (it was at the start of our stay and we didn't know if this was daily) but a quick message on the Gina app ensured this didn't happen again and the follow up calls to our room to check everything was ok were very welcomed. Food and Drink Just make sure you declare any intolerances/allergies. Coming from the UK, our menus always declare allergies and I can normally pick out which foods are 'safe' so I did have one mishap (my own fault) for not declaring a nut intolerance. I did declare following this and did not have any problems at all. I am surprised that none of the buffet or antipasti selections had any labelling for allergens and I do think this is something they could improve on. Having to have the chef walk me around Mario's (although very helpful) didn't seem an effective use of her time if things were clearly labelled. That being said, all the food was amazing! We LOVED the sushi - the crispy philly rolls are to die for. Those sushi chefs are magicians! And the french toast for breakfast with the rum sauce at Eleanor's was brilliant. My husband ate so much fish whilst here and he never does at home so that tells you how good it is! When we arrived, we booked OK Corral, Kimonos and Eleanor's with no problem and dined at all three. Pool/Beach We spent time at both the pool and beach. Plenty of sun loungers for both. There were loungers free at 3pm for the duration of the stay so never had any issues. We took a kayak out once but the water sports team member put us off as he just grunted at us and didn't offer any helpful guidance like where we could and couldn't go! I really wanted to try other water sports but it put us off as novices- I felt like we were a nuisance. Entertainment The evening entertainment was incredible. The aqua show was out of this world and a definite must see at this resort. We also loved the beach party! It was a shame the leaflet in the room didn't match the app as we missed some entertainment thinking it was on different nights but didn't ruin our time there. Experiences/Excursions/Add Ons We booked a cabana for a day by the main pool. It was fine but we wouldn't pay for it again. It was just a waiter who brought us breakfast and lunch, we didn't get any drinks offered beside the ones in the cooler but we were near the bar so didn't bother us. We had our first ever couples massage at the spa with Michele and her colleague, it was sensational. Well worth the money! For excursions, we booked through Island Routes on resort. We booked TukTuk beach hopping and Walking Food tour of St John's. The beach hopping was incredible, our favourite experience of the whole stay. The walking food tour was ok but the guide let that down (not Sandals fault!) We requested the honeymoon package for our arrival but 4 petals on the bed and nothing else seemed a bit silly really and not worth the request. Our favourite add on was the Candlelit dinner on the beach for our last night. We booked for 6.30pm and watched the sun set. My husband's main course was wrong but they quickly rectified it and we had a gorgeous meal with amazing views. Would highly recommend this! Cats Just a mention to the cats on resort. I am terrified of cats but these cats did not bother you one bit. I was nervous before coming but they're fine. They might sit and watch you eat but if ignored, they move along to someone who will feed them. No bother at all. Overall Such a gorgeous stay with many many happy memories. Some staff members were delightful and really made it special. Some were not bothered about customer service (employee at club sandals who was too busy bitching about his colleagues to ring for our bags to be collected which made us late for our transfer). Thank you to the team at Sandals Grande Antigua, we hope to return one day ????

Absolutely loved our stay at Sandals Grande Antigua! ?? From start to finish, my husband and I had such an amazing time. The food was fantastic, the grounds were absolutely beautiful, and the beaches were truly picture perfect. Everything felt like a little slice of paradise, but what really made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel like we were on vacation with friends. A special shoutout to the entertainment team—Amanda, De-Andre, and Michael! They brought so much energy and fun to our stay. My husband especially couldn’t resist getting involved in the activities ??. We found ourselves constantly joining in, laughing, and having the best time. The nightly shows were also such a highlight—we genuinely looked forward to them every evening!

Entertainment staff were amazing as well as all the other staff. Customer service is definitely a priority here and it shows. Food was fabulous. Would definitely return.
