Perfection

We had 3 different Butlers while we were there. Charmaine, Alex and Nykos, they made sure we had everything we could possibly need or want, they were simply amazing!! I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff there. From the cleaning services to the restaurant staff all the way to the photographers. It doesn’t get better than this. Thank you all for your kindness and hard work. Hope to get back some day.
Save your money and go elsewhere!

This was the worst run resort I've ever been to. The staff seemed as though they were being forced against their will to be there. They were not friendly. They never smiled, never engaged and seemed inconvenienced by us being there. We were not welcomed when we got there. I had to go up to desk to check-in and the staff just kept walking away. it took forever to get checked in then we had to carry our luggage to our room ourselves. One of our rooms was all the way across the resort. When we asked for help to get it there, they said no. We asked for a shuttle, and they said no. Food was not good and the service at the restaurants was even worse. At Kimonos, its supposed to be fun, hibachi, singing, volcano fire, catch food in your mouth type vibe. Our experience was nothing like that. It was so borring. He cooked and we sat there watching, hoping at some point it would get livelier. It didn't. When I asked for white sauce, the server said they didn't have any. We had it the night before, so I knew they had it and she just didn't want to be bothered. I walked to the sushi bar and got 3 containers of it myself and carried back to our table. My friend also had a necklace stolen out of her room that her kids just gave her for Christmas. Not only did they do NOTHING about it, they were so rude in the process. I had been to this resort pre covid. It is NOT the same as it used to be. I would save your money and go elsewhere unless you enjoy paying lots of money for mediocre food and to feel like an inconvenience!

Sandals Sets the Bar for Caribbean resorts

This is our 3rd Sandals resort in the Caribbean that we have used. From our previous experiences, we set the bar high, and were not disappointed. We stayed in a club level suite (no butler service) and found our room to be spacious and comfortable. Our housekeeper, Thelma, came in daily to refresh towels and go over the floors. She was clearly a hard worker, and took pride in giving us good service. I was gifted a massage at the spa, and Polly did a fantastic job! She was professional and knowledgeable. My husband went scuba diving 5 of the 7 days we were there. Hutchinson in the dive shop was thorough and personable . He encouraged my spouse to be part of the Sandals Elite diver program, and worked closely with him to get that accomplished while we were there. Of course, the Sandals travel agents are always eager to help you book another stay. Kerrianne found us on the beach, remembered my name when I had to go to the office to change the appointment, and provided us with excellent service when we did meet up. The grounds and gardens are exceptionally maintained. This resort had a nice beach area and large main pool for lounging. We never waited very long for a table at meal time and they had diverse food options. All in all, while we were told that the resort was quite full, we never felt that it was crowded. Overall, quiet property and beautiful place to relax.
Wow, What an excellent time!

What a great trip! Two couples getting away from the cold. Although we were told that the resort was full, it did not seem that way at all. No problems finding chairs at the pool or beach (as long as you went early). Weather was great, although a bit windy on one or two days -- nothing that interfered with being on the beach or by the pool. Lots to do at this resort -- snorkeling, sailing, paddle board, kayaks, wine tasting, martini tasting, and more! Food was very good, both in taste and presentation. Although we did need to make reservations at a couple of the restaurants, we never had to wait more that 5- 10 minutes at any place we chose to eat. Just a hint....even if the restaurants that require reservations say they are full you can still drop by and they will fit you in. We all had our favorite restaurant. I was partial to Mario's appetizer bar! But, make sure to try the crab cakes at Eleanor's, too! Accommodations were excellent and clean. Maid/ turndown service was exceptional. Took a private taxi tour of the island with Ordon(sp) and he went out of his way to be accommodating, informative, and friendly -- we booked him through the concierge. Finally, the Entertainment Services was above any we have experienced before! The different bands, the dancing, the carnival!!! SO FUN! Special shout out to Amanda who made sure all were having a blast and to Kwasi -- man, those guys can sing!!!! Both recognized our group throughout the week and made sure to stop and say "Hi" and asked how we were enjoying ourselves and what would make our stay more fun! I can't forget to mention the cats! They were funny! Each seemed to have their own area to patrol -- I'm assuming they are on lizard and mongoose patrol -- and although the cats were around, they didn't beg or bother, they were just there. And, yes...they would let you give them a quick scratch behind the ears before they were off to work their areas. Some areas of improvement... Maybe more bartenders at the pool and other areas and as with any folks in the service industry, a reminder that regardless of how annoying some tourists can be, smiles and attitude are what keeps people coming back.
