The resort is nice and a slice of paradise. The preferred club isnt worth the money in my eyes. There were also some missteps, but it was a solid vacation. I would consider it again, but would probably not book again.

The hotel was beautiful and extremely clean. The service was the best I have ever experienced. The rooms were decent and the food for the most part was good. The main pool did have several tiles that were missing and they caused some cuts on my kids feet. Other than that it was a good experience.

While the welcoming staff appeared friendly at first, the experience felt misleading. I was encouraged to pay for a room upgrade based on promised improvements, but upon checking in, it was clear that the upgraded room offered no noticeable difference from the standard option. This approach comes across as a sales tactic rather than a genuine effort to enhance the guest experience. I recommend future guests request to view any upgraded rooms before committing to additional charges.

We had a fantastic stay at Dreams Sands Cancun — it was the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and warm hospitality for our family. The beach was one of the highlights — it had a lively and friendly atmosphere, with music, games, and people enjoying themselves, but it never felt overwhelming. It was fun and social, and still relaxing when we wanted it to be. There were always enough chairs available, which made beach days easy and stress-free — no early morning towel-saving needed! The food was excellent, especially the buffet which offered a wide range of options for everyone, including our 4-year-old. One of our favorite spots was the café, where they served freshly made crepes and delicious coffee — a daily treat we looked forward to. The snacks in the Preferred Lounge were also a great bonus — fresh, tasty, and convenient. We want to highlight the outstanding service throughout the resort. Lorena from VIP Services made a huge difference in our experience — she was warm, attentive, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Erik at the front desk was also kind and helpful, and we truly appreciated his support. The entire resort was immaculately clean, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming and kind. From food to service to the beachfront vibe, Dreams Sands delivered an amazing vacation for our family. We would absolutely return!

The location of the resort was excellent, a quick trip from the airport. The beach was beautiful and warm. The food was generally very good, but a lot of items were repeated. I was sad that they did not have Corona at the bars and they did not have guacamole on the buffets.
