We had the most amazing experience at dreams sands. Julio Ortega Our concierge was the most amazing and helpful person. I was planning an engagement here and he went above and beyond to make it the most amazing engagement I could ever imagine. I would recommend to anyone to go to dreams sands and if you are planning anything through the hotel ask for Julio Ortega because he is the most amazing and most helpful kind hearted person to deal with. He came in on his day off to make sure everything went perfectly I don’t know anyone that dedicated to make someone’s big day the best it could ever be. Thank you so much!!!

Good things first: family/kid friendly. Lots of entertainment throughout the day. Great entertainment staff. Location walking distance to the flea market and shopping and clubs. Why I won’t stay here again: resort is small and grounds/beach/chairs are too small to accommodate everyone. No beach chairs ever. 7am chairs already gone. Seldom any wait staff on the beach either. Food is mediocre, worst I’ve had and I’m not picky. There’s very few rooms with balconies-i hated this more than I thought I would. The windows provide zero sound barrier to the weddings, pools, nightly entertainment. If you have kids, no way they’re sleeping. Mini bar is only pop and beer, and is only restocked when you ask for it. You have to download the app the request minibar or anything else, and see the entertainment schedule. Room service is not even edible. My toilet ran until my husband fixed it, sadly he couldn’t fix the tub. The tub is high/deep and it’s tub/shower combo so if you have mobility issues this would be an issue. Perhaps if you pay the $70USD/ day per person for the preferred club things would be better. This is also a timeshare property. We got daily unwanted wake up calls from sales reps until i signed a paper saying i didn’t want the timeshare. This resort is very overpriced and a huge disappointment.

This place is lovely. We got of to a bad start concerning the rooms but the preferred lounge staff soon rectified that. Once settled the staff at this resort can’t do enough for you The various restaurants are great and well worth a visit It’s worth the extra cost for the preferred as this gives you more options on dinners etc. on that note we had no problem getting a subbed on any day. This is a very clean resort and well worth the money. Thankyou to all the staff at dreams sands resort

Most pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms. The best that I've experienced. Well appointed with extra touches. Great variety of pools, bars, beaches, and food service. Fast friendly service.

The stay was good, but average overall. Nothing was excellent or poor. The food options were average, but limited on options. Food quality was average and was what you can get anywhere else. Service was good and hotel was ok overall but room size was about the size of a standard hotel.
