My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and stayed at the adults only Turquoize part of the hotel. Everyone at the hotel did an exceptional job making our anniversary extra special especially our private butlers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an all inclusive vacation with their family!

We had a tremendous experience at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Out of all the resorts we’ve visited, the people and the service at Hyatt Ziva were by far the best. The food was exceptional. We felt like we were at a 5-star restaurant for every meal with lots of healthy options that we like. The spa experience was very relaxing and calm. We felt very safe and secure at this place. We were there to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday and they made it a very special experience for her. I would like to call out the following outstanding people who served us and made our time at the resort one we will never forget! Lidia (massage therapist), Samanhta (spa receptionist), Oscar, Gigi, Victor and Andre (our butlers), Tannya, Camilo, Rodrigo, Daniela, William, Esau and Paulina (the awesome entertainment group), Jose Coleaza (waiter at La Mercado), Celso (waiter at Moongate), Victor and Ricardo (waiters at Habanero), Felix (waiter at Tres Cervezas), Alejandra Verduzco (Manager of Tres Cervezas) and Aramateo and Jose (maintenance). Love all those people. We will be coming back soon??

We stayed just three nights. Great restaurants and clean room. Lots of activities. Sports bar was our family's favorite to play in.

The staff members were so kind here. Service with a smile and very helpful all over the resort. Sadly, we have grown accustomed to a crew that is less than eager to help and brings no joy to the job. Not here!

First important tips: Want to stay in the shade at the beach? Take beach towels to your room( no room key needed for towels) and reserve your seats with towels and personal items BEFORE 7 am. (Don’t worry about 40 min rule ). Book the hibachi show with Esteban ONLY. You will be disappointed with the show without Esteban doing it. Bring all the sunblock with you ( checking bags are cheaper ) $30 per cream and $35 for spray. The hotel is beautiful and every staff member would accommodate your every want and need with a smile on their face ( thank you Victoria at the check-in area for room upgrades ). For kids, it’s absolute paradise! Shallow ocean and a large shaded area at the pool to play with. We stayed in the swim-up room and enjoyed the ocean sounds and quieter pool area. The hotel is very well maintained and everything is super clean, new, and beautiful. AND OMG DOLPHINS!!!! For 150 per person ( they have a cheaper option) you and your kids will have memories to last a lifetime ( 74-114 picture packages after ) The food is mostly delicious. The one place I would not go is Habaneros. My 15-year-old daughter and I didn’t like it at all. Italian, Japanese, and Tres Cervesas had the most tasty food. The buffet and steak house were ok. Sweets cafe, freshly made churros, and a coffee shop were glorious! Have a food allergy or a special diet needs? No worries every restaurant can accommodate any food allergy, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan ..you name it. Also, the hotel has a lot of Asian guests ( amazing !). Because of that the buffet had Japanese, Chinese, and Korean options for breakfast. Another tip is lunches were super slow at any restaurant. If you want fast food service, go to BBQ areas. For a person who wrote a review that this hotel does not provide fresh juice...the buffet had 5 different options and also next to the buffet they had a health bar with fresh juices, smoothies, and protein shakes. My daughter and I will be back next spring break !!!
