Good location, we went towards the end of spring break and it was still very busy - at 10am we found the last chairs around the pool. With it so busy, the buffets were on the loud side. My daughter enjoyed the kids club, and adults enjoyed the adults-only pool. Nice hotel grounds, it makes a great first impression.

Just came home from a week at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun and cant wait to return. You can do as little or as much as you want there as there is never a shortage of relaxation or activities. My only complaint is they dont have straws so I think that's saying a lot. We stayed in the club tower and loved all the amenities it came with. The resort is big but nothing is too far. The restaurants are incredible and the steak dinner we had at Tradewinds rivaled any steakhouse Ive been to at home. Our hibachi experience was probably the best Ive ever had. Our chef was amazing and so interactive. There are daily activities that you can participate in or just sit on the beach or around the pool while you order a drink. Every staff member was attentive and went above and beyond.

I wanna start by saying that overall the hotel is amazing, but the food does get a little old at times. I also want to say that Sebastian was a wonderful hostess at all the restaurants and he really went above and beyond to cater for us as well as Jamie Sebastian really took care of us and really made sure that we got all the rooms with private dining and we were well looked after. The only concern I had was the butler situation where our initial Butler was not very responsive and was not messaging us back when questions were asked, but we did request a new Butler and he was wonderful. His name was Hernandez overall the hotel does a great job and ensuring that if you are dissatisfied with whichever service, it is that it is remediated and rectified promptly, and we really appreciated all the waiters and waitresses, as well as like I mentioned Sebastian, who went above and beyond for Us.

Our stay at Hyatt Ziva was absolutely exceptional. While the resort itself is beautiful, what truly made our holiday unforgettable was the incredible people. The level of service, warmth, professionalism, and genuine care we experienced throughout our stay was outstanding. ? Pablo & the Management Team A very special mention must go to Pablo, the Hotel Manager, and his amazing management team. Pablo is an exceptional leader who clearly takes enormous pride in his resort and, most importantly, in his guests and his team. His professionalism, warmth, accessibility, and attention to detail really stood out to us. You can feel his leadership throughout the resort. The staff are happy, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, and that says a great deal about the management behind them. Pablo and his management team have created something very special at Hyatt Ziva. Their dedication and leadership are reflected in the outstanding service we received everywhere we went. ? Oliver Buning We would especially like to recognize Oliver Buning, who was absolutely fantastic. Oliver went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were exceptional. Oliver has that rare ability to make you feel completely welcome while still maintaining an incredibly high standard of service. He was always attentive and helpful, and his positive attitude made such a difference to our stay. Oliver is a real credit to Hyatt Ziva and deserves special recognition for the way he looks after guests. ? Abel Morales Abel Morales was another outstanding member of the team. His service was exceptional, and he consistently went above and beyond to make our experience special. Abel was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and his warm personality made every interaction memorable. Abel is exactly the kind of person who makes guests want to return to a resort. Hyatt Ziva is very fortunate to have him. ? Sofia & Dinora A huge thank you also to Sofia and Dinora, who were both absolutely wonderful. They consistently provided such warm, personal, and attentive service. Their kindness and genuine smiles made us feel so welcome, and they always seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. Sofia and Dinora are both exceptional ambassadors for Hyatt Ziva, and their hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. We would also like to recognize Leila Gurin, Roberto Bravo, Paulina Balam, Lizeth Barajas, Daniela from Concierge, and all the other wonderful team members who looked after us throughout our stay. A special thank you to Kevin, our morning buffet server, whose friendly service was a wonderful way to start each day. Thank you to Alejandro Cespedes and Carlos Hernandez, the Cabana Managers, who took such great care of us at Cabana #4 on the other side. They made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. A special mention to Arturo Gonzalez, the Head Chef, for his dedication and passion for creating such a great dining experience. Thank you also to Eduardo in the gym for his kindness and excellent service. The coffee team — Alan, Jesus, Adriana, and the entire coffee team — were fantastic. Their smiles and friendly service made every coffee visit something we looked forward to. And thank you to Eric Bourguss and Benjamin Gomez from the bell team for being so helpful and welcoming. There are so many people at Hyatt Ziva who deserve recognition, but Oliver Buning, Abel Morales, Sofia, and Dinora deserve an especially big thank you from us, along with Pablo and his outstanding management team. It is easy to have a beautiful resort, but it takes an exceptional team to create an unforgettable holiday. Hyatt Ziva has that team. Pablo should be incredibly proud of the people he leads. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality we experienced throughout the resort are a true reflection of excellent management. Thank you to Pablo, Oliver, Abel, Sofia, Dinora, and the entire Hyatt Ziva team for making our stay so special. We felt genuinely welcomed, cared for, and valued from beginning to end. The location was perfect . Was about 30min from the airport and did not feel long. The atmosphere from the moment you pull up the high walls of Ziva you feel like you entered another world . The rooms are mostly the same but well layed out. I would recommend the Ocean Front rooms as they face the ocean and every morning I watched the sunrise . Our room was on the 5th floor and noise level was very low. For the most part there’s not much noise and the room had a sound proof sliding door which kept the outside sounds to a surprisingly minimum. Since we traveled with kids I was a bit worried about not having a water park like most other all inclusive but overall it wasn’t really needed as they have entertainment for the kids through the day which gave us a more family oriented experience so we enjoyed it all together. Example being cartoon characters dancing at the pool with music and foam shooter . The food was great . A step above other all inclusive I would say in my honest opinion.the buffet was the star as it catered for everyone and the food was still amazing . Seafood night was the best. The pool was clean and kept clean as I got up early and staff were making sure it was clean . The beach was absolutely beautiful. They even clean the beach every morning. Keep in mind this is your private beach and when we walked further down to the other resort beach it was not as beautiful as Ziva”s! I would advise bringing your own floating devices as they are very expensive at the resort gift shop. We also visited Isla Mujeres and it was so close to Ziva . Definitely do that for a day while there . I would highly recommend this place for a family looking to not do much outdoor activities but just to relax by the pool and beautiful private beach.
