We stayed 4 nights in the Turquoize tower in April 2026 and loved it! The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. I've never seen resort/hotel staff who do a better job at making you feel relaxed. They assigned us butlers to help keep our rooms fresh and restocked with favorite snacks, they helped us book reservations at the nice restaurants and filled the jacuzzi on our balcony when requested like we were royalty. I felt like every person who helped us actually cared about our experience and doing whatever they could to make our trip enjoyable. We had never been here before but it's in a really nice spot along the hotel zone. Our group was supposed to stay in the Hyatt Zilara but had to move due to the construction. We were expecting it to be more family-oriented but the adults-only pool and bars made it feel less like a kid-oriented vacation. If you stay in another tower, you may not have the same experience. The views on this property from the beaches stretch out along the coast. You can also catch the famous lighthouse and some smaller ruins on the grounds. The room was a good size with a nice balcony looking over the water. You can see through the shower walls out onto the water too. Our room looked towards the quieter pools to the south near Habanero's, although we did hear some wedding noise from 7pm-10pm a couple of nights and the cruise ships coming through around 2am woke us up once. We LOVED the pier cabanas and the cabanas with the grill service attached, even with the extra cost. The pier cabanas allowed us to watch fish swim by, the grilled food was delicious down by the south beach cabanas. The facials/massages that came with cabana rental were an added bonus. There were some people in our group who weren't happy with food portion sizes or quality, but it didn't bother us too much. You can order as much food as you want (minus the upgrades that cost money like lobster) so you can get two entrees if you want more food. The alfredo we tried was only so-so, but the hibachi, french food, and grilled lamb at the cabanas were amazing. The tacos, ice cream, and breakfast at Tradewinds were good too. If you go to the french restaurant, La Bastille, get the sea bass! Room service serves full dinner options until 11pm which was amazing when we got done dancing or visiting with friends around 10pm and wanted to order some food. We're already looking at going back or trying the Hyatt Zilara as a solo couple because we were so upset when our trip was over.

The location of this resort is the perfect location it has views at every area of the resort. The rooms are beautiful and the cleaning staff/refreshment staff are 100%. If you stay in the adults only Turquoise Tower, you will be spoiled. It is a bit on the pricey side, but you really do get what you pay for we go nine nights, but you can always do a 7-night stay. This resort is one of the cleanest and well-maintained resorts we have ever stayed at and that is one of the reasons we go back also the service and the food 100/100. There are several staff members that we have the pleasure to see every year we go back and lots of new faces that are so amazing. If you decide to make the Hyatt Ziva a home away from home like my husband and I have you will be Very Lucky to have service like they provide and let's face it the Views from this resort are Breathless!!

Everyone was amazing! Monserrat was helping us in our room and had the most attentive and amazing customer service! Armando led our Zumba classes and he gave the best class and was super helpful! Love it here!

The coordination of checking in and moving your bags was very disappointing. I am not sure how walking from the front lobby to the baggage drop, which is less than 20 ft the person checking me in could lose my baggage receipt. If this is your first time arriving on the property, you were suppose to have a welcome banner on your door but that don't expect it, they will give it to other people in your party but don't plan on receiving one. The food is subpar and this place is not truly "all inclusive" as you are expected to pay around $2.88 USD for the arcade.

Was better than I expected. The swim-up rooms are awesome! Tradewinds was excellent both for dinner and at breakfast. The entertainment needs improvement.
