Great experience! Star class/prime with butler service definitely worth it. Great resort, rooms, service, food, staff and entertainment! Isauro and Robert were the best butlers in Mexico! Azael and Oscar from entertainment were a lot of fun on the beach! We actually had a better experience here than at some of the more high end exclusive resorts in Mexico.

We have been to numerous all-inclusive resorts of all types and classes, and we enjoyed our stay at the Planet Hollywood. The Good: Beach was big and clean, and we were surprised there was barely any seaweed. They have a bar on the beach which we didn’t use but to good to have. Food was also good. We found the room service lunch/dinner menu was better than the late night menu which can be expected. The sushi restaurant was AMAZING. We didn’t do the teppanyaki show because we preferred the regular menu. Shout out to Antonio who was hands down one of the best waiters we’ve ever had. Steakhouse was also good, and we found Italian and Mexican to be mediocre. Oh I can’t forget the Gus Fiery burger spot which we enjoyed for lunch by the pool everyday. Room was big and clean, and we did a swim up suite which I highly recommend for families travelling with toddlers. We would hang out in the pool and have drinks while the kids napped or went to bed at night. Kids pool are was great! We would get up at 5-6 every morning and reserve one of the cabanas which was a nice base for the day. We also loved the lazy river. I liked how they played music and clapped when we entered the lobby upon our arrival lol. The Bad: We were only allowed to order 4 items from the bar service per day. So if you wanted beer and water, you could only order a total of 4 so we were limited to 2 waters and 2 beers per day. Then on weekdays I think that number goes down to only 2 per day which is ridiculous. There was one day it took like 8 hours to get the delivery because they were understaffed. Bars were also understaffed at times which led to long wait times.
