Highly disappointed. For someone who travels A LOT both for pleasure and for work, my expectations were not high knowing this was a 3-star resort but I was still very disappointed. We were given no information at check-in about how and where to find out about the entrainment, the restaurants and more. Our room was right near the night time entertainment and it was EXTREMELY loud. The night of the Carnival Parade our walls were literally vibrating. Even with headphones on to block out the noise it was ridiculously loud. Our room was a disaster. Dirty and holes in the walls, shower curtain continued to fall down just out of nowhere, mid shower etc. I was also told our last night that we should have had access to Dreams for a full day as well as other benefits I was never informed of. They constantly were out of beach/pool towels also. All this said, the beach was nice and the island was beautiful so I tried to not let these disappointments damper our time. As a Hyatt member who frequently stays Hyatt this was not up to their standards at all, even a 3 star. I will say the woman at the bar by the pool was AMAZING and a highlight of our trip. I don't drink but my kids got many nonalcoholic frozen drinks and she was so awesome with them. I will not stay here again but will most definitely visit Curaçao again! I hate to leave a poor review but the level of disappointment was very high this trip. i keep trying to load the pictures I took of the state of the room and all the mold and damage but it won't let me for some reason!

Visited the Sunscape Curacao for a week. The staff was very friendly, and many were fluent in 3 or more languages. The resort itself is a bit dated, but cleanliness is very good. Don’t be fooled by the photos of the beach area, while there are plenty of lounges and shades, the bottom of the swimming area is very rocky and rough. Food is plentiful, but the selection and quality is ordinary or less. Variety is not good. My wife enjoyed the salmon at the fish restaurant, but the menu was two fish dishes and a chicken skewer. The bars are poorly equipped, I like a mojito, and was able to get two during a week. “Name” brands weren’t visible. The people are the best quality of this resort. Lounging in the sun is the next best thing.

What a dump. Buffet sucked. We booked Sunclub. Our room was subpar. Electrical outlet in the bathroom never worked. Made 3 attempts with staff to get it fixed and never happened. There are no dead bolts on the front door. Patio door was almost impossible to open and close. The only good things about this resort are the beach, Sunclub pool and the location.

The hotel is in a good location and its small but very beautiful. The food is horrible and mediocre, often lacking options. The a la carte restaurants are OK ! The entertainment can be better, everything shuts down at 10pm, except for the casino . The staff are not friendly at all. It’s not a 3 star resort. The day of my check- out they lock my room before 12 noon before check out. My belongings were still inside. Had to go to the front desk three times so they can re activate my card to open my room and get my belongings. Staff was very rude and was refusing to go an open my room with a key ! I will not be visiting again and I will not recommend.

The beach and the water are beautiful for snorkeling. The rooms are nice and clean. However, the service from the staff is often not very friendly, and there are frequent issues regarding alcohol. In addition, there is only one snack bar, which is open for a few hours in the afternoon, and half to three-quarters of the menu is usually unavailable. Make sure you don’t miss the buffet, otherwise you won’t have anything to eat.
