Love, love, love!!

This is my 6th stay at Embassy Suites and again, it was perfect. The check in process was seamless, we were given welcome water and snacks upon arrival. One pleasant surprise was the water and ice on our floor that we could fill our Stanley water bottles from, it saved us a lot of money. The beds were really comfortable, pillows fluffy, the toilets this time had warmed seats and a bidet feature.... The gym on the third floor opens at 5:00am and was perfect for getting a quick workout in before hitting the beach. Big Wave Dave's right near the elevators of the Hula Tower had the most tasty breakfast treats and coffee. The pool area was great, for a cooling dip with a lot of chairs, and bar service. The valet service was really awesome, our car was well cared for. The bellman weighed our luggage as we were checking out so we could save ourselves the embarrassment and time at the airport and that was a huge help. I love the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beachwalk, and highly recommend them for your next stay.
Great hotel and staff

The staff is wonderful. Sue Siu was very professional, friendly, and responsive. Chita, the housekeeper, provided outstanding service to the room. The only suggestion I can make is to change the card reader in the elevators. The card reader is very unstable. The key is rectangular and the reader is round. Not a good match.
Embassy/Beachwalk birthday staycation

I like the location on food and convenience of close stores to get some essentials. On Sunday, there was a fire work show, and it lasted 15 mins with some awesome displays. The hotel crew was very helpful, and it comes with breakfast every morning. Spend 3 nights for my bday and had an awesome ocean view corner unit. Awesome free drinks at the happy hour bar every night.
It is not safe staying

We stayed at the Hilton Embassy Suites in February 2025 with my family. Unfortunately, our experience was severely impacted by a case of food poisoning I contracted from the hotel’s breakfast on our second morning. Within hours, I became extremely ill and was unable to leave the room for over 30 hours. Eventually, I had to visit a local hospital, where I was diagnosed with a bacterial infection—most likely caused by food poisoning. I had not eaten anywhere else after breakfast, making it clear that the hotel’s food was the source. I reported the incident to the hotel and filed an official complaint, but their response was disappointing. Aside from a check-in call to ask how I was doing, they took no real action. This illness completely ruined our vacation, affecting what I could eat and drink, where we could go, and how we spent the rest of our stay. Frankly, I am not surprised given the hygiene issues I noticed at the breakfast area—dishes were often unclean, and plates and trays were constantly wet. This is not what I would expect from a Hilton property, but unfortunately, it was the reality. Given the severity of what happened, I felt it was reasonable to request compensation. However, despite multiple attempts to contact hotel management and reception, no one ever responded. I am truly shocked that this happened at a Hilton property in the U.S. and even more disappointed by the lack of accountability. This experience has completely changed my perception of Hilton, and I will not be staying with this hotel chain again. I strongly advise others to reconsider before booking here.
Disappointing Stay as a Hilton Honors Gold Member
Jennifer K (Atlanta, Georgia) on Mar 06, 2025
As a Hilton Honors Gold Member, and an Embassy Suites fan, my expectations were unfortunately not met during my stay at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, with worn and dirty carpet, dated furnishings, and signs of wear on the walls. The slow elevators and the presence of many families, including children and teenagers, contributed to a less than ideal experience. Given its rating, I anticipated a higher standard and was disappointed by the overall state of the property. A few pluses: The bellhops were exceptionally nice and accommodating. And the hotel's location is great (despite not being directly on the beach). If you do stay here (or in proximity), be sure to try sorbet or ice cream at Henry's Place. Expensive but so worth it.
