Really great experience staying here. All the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a kiosk for check in/out but if you need assistance there is someone close by to help. They will hold your bags before checkin if you would to explore the city or grab a bit at one of the restaurants onsite for $1/bag.You are steps away from Time Square, There is noise you can hear from your room from the city like sirens but your in NYC so that’s to be expected. Overall it was a wonderful experience and most choice to stay again if ever in NYC Manhattan again.

I went with my sister in law and niece to see a show and stay overnight. The location was perfect for where we were. Check in was quick and the front desk was friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The plush robes were a plus! After the show and dinner we came back for drinks and enjoyed listening to great jazz music with wonderful service in a great atmosphere in the Rum house. After a very comfortable night sleep we used our voucher that came with the room ($6.50/per plus tax and tip!) for a delicious breakfast at Friedmans. The portions were huge! We are already planning another night Broadway night stay for the spring!

My cousin and I go to NYC annually in hopes of taking in at least 3 Broadway shows. The Edison’s location is perfect and the price is very competitive. We also like the happy hour on Tuesdays in the lobby, and the inexpensive breakfast at Friedmans with the coupon. My only wish is that there should be a small fridge in the room.

I stayed at the Edison for 5 nights in January 2025. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bars and restaurants attached to the hotel were attractive and the food was very good. The location is amazing, just off Times Square and in the heart of the theater district. In an era of modern, stripped-back hotels, it was lovely to encounter an old-school welcome. It will be my go-to the next time I'm in NYC.

Stayed at Hotel Edison in January 2024 and again last week. The Hotel is situated approximately 30 second walk from the front door to the broadway ticket booths at top Time Square. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with bottles water stocked every day and cleaning. It is a very busy hotel but everything runs smoothly. They offer a Grab and Go Breakfast which is ideal for early starts but you can upgrade to one of the 2 Restaurants onsite. The hotel offers free walking tours and wine hour in lobby. They also have the famous Rum Bar onsite ideal for pre theatre drinks with happy hour every day from 4-6pm. The staff are very friendly and Fehat in concierge is so friendly and helpful a credit to the Hotel. If you have Late flight you can leave your bags In luggage room for $1 a bag. We will definitely be staying at the Edison each time we are in New York.
