If you’re headed to New York and looking for a place to stay in Manhattan, The Hotel Edison is the place for you. Just a stones throw from Times Square and in the heart of the Theatre District, The Hotel Edison is the perfect location for all the things NYC has to offer. The rooms are great, the hotel is nice and clean and the staff are fantastic and super helpful.
Live the pleasure of being on Broadway itself

A great hotel at a good price in the heart of Broadway. Good restaurants and a jazz/blues bar very interesting. Very good choice of a vintage one.

The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Broadway, Times Square, Central Park and more. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well appointed.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with Hotel Edison. During my stay, I was charged a $320 security deposit that we were never clearly informed about beforehand. There was no transparent communication about the amount prior to arrival, which was already frustrating. However, the bigger issue is that almost four months later, I still have not received my money back. I spoke to multiple receptionists in person at the hotel before checking in and after checking out and was told I would receive my money within 5-7 days after my stay. I contacted Hotel Edison by email multiple times, asked repeatedly for this issue to be resolved. Initially, they told me it would take 30 days. After that timeframe passed, instead of resolving the problem, they told me to contact my card provider because they “can’t deal with it.” This is unacceptable. A hotel should take responsibility for returning a guest’s deposit in a timely and professional manner. Passing the issue onto the customer after months of waiting shows a complete lack of accountability and customer care. I am extremely disappointed with how this has been handled. If you are considering staying here, be aware of unexpected charges and the risk of significant delays getting your money returned. I would not stay here again.
