Decided to come to NYC for my 3rd time but not since 14 and out for my 56th birthday. Decided to stay in heart of Times Square and after finding it from subway am I glad I did!!!! Very friendly staff, lots of good quick elevators, and good restaurants on site (wish didn't hafta pay the extra for breakfast I think that should be part of it, but not a deal breaker) 5th floor room i wish I coulda been higher and with a bit better view, but loved the large space of a nyc room! The doorman, front desk, key monitors all were super friendly!! The bed was very big and comfortable, bathroom was small but i don't live in the loo.... Loved the space, the staff, and especially the location!!! Don't upgrade as ut 30s vibe give it a wonderful charm and touch!!! I will recommend and stay when I find myself in the Big Apple again!!! Located just off Time Square and convenient to nearly every New York attraction via subway. Hotel atmosphere is that of an independent brand, but very polished and solid service. Rooms were tight for four people, but to be expected given the location. Pretty good value for the location and service. Clean, but the rooms were dated - we did not have a coffee machine in our room. Somewhat noisy given the neighborhood, but not noisy from a guest perspective.

During our booking process, we experienced discrimination. The individual we spoke with even requested my wife’s identification, which she did not do to the other guest. Additionally, we were only given one day’s worth of breakfast for a two-night stay. Furthermore, we were assigned a room facing the window of a different room and a wall. Upon returning to the hotel, we requested for a bottle of water, but nothing arrived. My wife went down to inquire in person and was rudely instructed to wait and will just be delivered to room, no water came.

Located close to Times Square, it was perfect location to Broadway Shows, sight seeing and more. It also offered free walking tours at each of its Triump hotels which really made NYC come to life. Would recommend Streetwise walking tours.
