Left slightly disappointed

Overall this is a good hotel however there were a few things that were lacking. Positives Comfy bed Fresh towels daily if wanted Facilities Cold free drinking water in lobby and by pools Excellent stocked but pricy mini market Starbucks Pools were excellent, large, nice temperature and towels Coffee machine regularly restocked Negatives Main one being the rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment, showing signs of age. Two huge cracks in marble top spanning entire length of vanity siliconed in Rooms were not cleaned for the entire length of stay (2 weeks) which is unacceptable. Although towels were changed and beds made. Toiletries not replenished Strange smell In incredibly loud, despite reporting they were unable to fix the noise so was only able to have it on during the day and not nighttime meaning it became hot overnight. For the above reasons I would not return especially if air con is required. Also beware of the large parking fee, we didn’t pay this as was included in the room rate however would have been miffed if had to pay. Location means having a car is helpful.
Specialized experiences fantastic. But Overall quality and Sleep Experience is Lacking

We came to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. We were married here in 2009 and very excited to celebrate. We reserved a suite and we were very excited to spend the first night away from our kids in a long time. We got here about 1:30 and they told us our room wasn’t ready yet, but couldn’t move us to a different room because they had a special surprise for us already planned. We had a spa appointment at 2 and the massages were fantastic so no big deal. When we went back to the front desk, there was no acknowledgment of our anniversary, congrats or welcome back, we got to our room and there was nothing special as the first check in person noted. We were taking showers getting ready for a dinner reservation and heard a knock at the door. It was someone delivering a breakfast menu- to the wrong room. My husband mentioned they said there was supposed to be something special. They said oops you’re right. He told them we were going to dinner in an hour and getting ready now. Someone then knocked on the door 20 minutes later and we had to scramble to find bathrobes quickly. They brought a bottle of champagne which was nice… but not sure why that meant we couldn’t move rooms and also not sure why that had to be delivered when we said we were taking showers and getting ready for a dinner reservation. No concept of understanding or service. We did have a dinner reservation at a land remembered and the food and service were outstanding. The sleep experience however left a lot to be desired. I should have pushed to move rooms. The pillows were sooooo flat and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was making weird noises all night. The worst part though was the suite we paid $600 for was on the lobby level and near the pool and we could hear people yelling and talking and singing all night. It is currently 2am and I haven’t slept and am very disappointed in this experience.
Great Hotel, good food, great people

Knew nothing of the Rosen chain when I chose their hotel. I was in town for Infocomm and wanted a hotel with nice pools for my wife to chill by. This hotel was awesome! All the service staff went out of their way to help with anything. The food in the restaurants was good and the grounds are beautiful and well kept.
Just stopped in for a meeting

Attended a conference but didn't stay at the resort. Place is huge! Restaurants are good. Didn't get a chance to explore the resort, which is unfortunate.
NOPE, not staying here again

I had a conference here and was incredibly unimpressed. The hotel / conference center is surrounded by highways, which means that you can’t really walk anywhere to get food. 1. The allure of having restaurants on site is great, until you realize that there are incredibly long lines at every single place. BE PREPARED TO WAIT for food (kinda like the ride experience at Disney and Universal, right?). And don’t even think about getting coffee, unless you want to be in a line that stretches way down the hall (hope you like your room Keurig!). Most of the restaurants are right next to each other, which means that you also get to fight the crowds just to get through the hallway between the hotel section and the conference center section. 2. Let’s say that you and your friends want to order a pizza and have it delivered to you from outside the hotel. Unlike any other place that I have ever stayed, you’re NOT ALLOWED TO EAT OUTSIDE FOOD in a public area at the hotel. No kidding. There are signs all over the place and we were admonished at the conference opening session for doing this. You’re only allowed to eat outside food inside your room. So much for the hotel’s common areas as gathering and community spaces… This is deplorable hotel behavior. 3. The Internet speeds here are ABYSMAL. I had to pay extra just to get 40 Mb in my room. If you don’t pay, you get… FOUR (4) Mb. WTF? I often got less than 40 even after I paid, so that felt like a total scam. BE PREPARED TO WAIT for even basic Internet pages to load, in addition to waiting in line for food and coffee. I can’t remember the last time my hotel Internet speeds were this bad (and I stay at really fancy places like Fairfield Inn & Suites). 4. My tissue box had two tissues in it when I checked in. You’re not allowed to go down to the front desk and ask for something, so I called room service for a new box. 40 minutes later, still no delivery and now it’s past my bedtime. I call again and, finally, 10 minutes after that, it arrives. So if you need to call room service, BE PREPARED TO WAIT (hold on, I’m sensing a theme here…). My King room was good-sized and clean, and the water was hot. But I could’ve gotten better service, quicker/better food, and a non-oppressive visit experience at a less expensive hotel that was near restaurants. If you have a conference here, do that instead and just rideshare over.
