Wonderful Hotel, Don’t Want to Leave

jonelled197 on May 09, 2025

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! I was here for a conference May 6-10. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The gentleman who checked me in asked if I wanted an upgrade from the typical hotel room. He put me into the Grand Suite. What a room; it had a small kitchenette, living area with a sofa and two chairs and a huge dinner table with 6 chairs. The room and bathroom were very clean. Thank you to him :) Staff- the staff is first class. I have never stayed at hotel where the employees are appreciative of their guests; this one loves their guests. I kept a do not disturb sign on my door the entire stay (I do every time I travel for various reasons) and a security guard came by to make sure I was okay. Restaurants- I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area and have nothing like these restaurants back home. I went to four of the restaurants on site and all were wonderful. Not a bad meal or drinks. The most impressive part of this hotel is they have a vegetable and herb garden on property to use in their restaurants. How much fresher can one get! Meeting facilities- very nice. Once again, the meeting staff and food were superb. In fact, my boss, coworker and I sat outside to eat and one of the meeting people came outside with glasses of ice water for us. I have never seen that happen before. In summary, I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Orlando. They pride themselves on taking care of their guests and making sure their stay is enjoyable. That’s hospitality!!

Nice venue, good restaurants, Housekeeping and Check-In Staff need more training

maryh8 (New York, NY) on May 08, 2025

The venue is nice and works well for a business conference. There are multiple restaurants and the pricing is reasonable. The Check-In Staff and Housekeeping Staff need improvement. The Check-In Person completely ignored special needs, which were listed on the booking request. The Housekeeping Staff did not adequately stock the room and we had to call Guest Amenities for assistance.

Amazing property!

dforberg (michigan) on May 04, 2025

Beautiful massive property with impeccable grounds. This is more of a resort than hotel. Great golf course, many restaurants, and a plethora of meeting space. There are 3 nice pools, poolside grill, great market and deli that is open 24 hours, volleyball, basketball and pickleball. Staff was fantastic! Overall 9.5 out of 10. The only reason it isn’t a 10 is the rooms are average and dated. They need to be redone with a lighter Florida vibe, they are dark with heavy furniture. There isn’t much around within walking distance but it is quiet and private. Would surely stay there again!

Stay Away. Overpriced and none of the standard services expected for the price.

Horribly overpriced hotel. For $259 per night plus tax and fee, there is no breakfast, no complimentary bottled water, a cheap set of miniature toiletries that would not last for a single shower, not even a shower cap and no complimentary slippers. Feels like a cheap 2 star hotel. There is nothing around so you are captive. No shuttle to airport. Will never come back. Stay Away!!

Family holiday

Corkfamilygetaway on Apr 28, 2025

This is a fine hotel, if you are attending a conference or on a golfing holiday. It is large and has a couple of restaurants and a Starbucks within. While it looks modern enough, the rooms are very dated. We stayed there for 10 days and would not return. The TV stations were limited for the entire ten day period and Chromecast never worked. Meaning it was mostly news for 10 days. This hotel initially seemed to cater for families. But we had huge issues with getting the complentary bus to the parks on several days with the driver refusing to bring a member of our family over 80 on the empty bus because we had not booked in advance. This meant we had to hire one in the universal park at our own expense which was inferior. This was in addition to the expense of the one we had to leave at the hotel. The hotel had a system where it was supposed to be first come, first serve on certain days. The driver also demanded to know our return time in advance. I would avoid the buffet restaurant downstairs. There was one lovely restaurant there and it great for burgers. If you are a family, trust me look elsewhere, save yourself a lot of time and money.
