?????????? Byron Made Our Night! I was in town for a Mary Kay conference and stayed at the hotel—what an amazing experience! The parking attendants were very helpful, and the front desk staff was friendly, efficient, and kept everything moving smoothly. My room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view. The conference spaces were excellent. Dinner at the bar at Cala Bella was a highlight. We grabbed seats easily, and our bartender, Byron (pronounced Brian), was fantastic—friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable, especially with my gluten-free needs and wine suggestions. The snapper special and chocolate crème brûlée were both delicious, and he even let me sample a European red that paired perfectly with dessert. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Rosen Shingle Creek and while the resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, my overall experience was impacted by a concerning issue with parking charges. My wife and I had two separate reservations during our stay. For the first reservation (March 31 – April 2, 2026), everything was handled properly, including parking charges. However, during our second reservation (April 2 – April 5, 2026), we were unexpectedly asked by the valet front desk to pay Ticket Number 236341 in the amount of $153.36 for Overnight Valet parking. We went to the main lobby front desk to address the issue, but unfortunately, we were not provided with a clear explanation for the charge. Instead, we were given general information about the difference between valet and self-parking rates, along with mention of possible discounts, including for handicap parking permits. None of this was communicated at check-in, which led to unnecessary confusion and frustration. While the staff remained courteous, the lack of transparency and clear billing breakdown is unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. Guests should be fully informed of all fees upfront—especially charges as significant as this. At this time, I am requesting that management review my account, provide a clear explanation of these charges, and issue a refund or adjustment if the billing is found to be incorrect or improperly communicated. This property has great potential to deliver a top-tier experience, but improved communication and billing transparency are absolutely necessary.

Location is great, staff friendly and pool area amazing. Lovely walks around the ground. Didnt use gym as you have to pay for it as well as parking. There is a Great little mini market on ground floor. Rooms are big but dated. While I am sure the carpet was clean it looked old and tired. Safe in bedroom, was a bit strange and didn’t fit much as it was fit in to a wall as a tall but shallow safe. Only one laptop would fit. While the hotel has a number of restaurants, I could not recommend any of them. Food very greasy in the Mexican and Ordered a Burrata pizza in the Italian and the Burrata came out cooked on it. Hotel seems to be really used most for conventions.

I would like to report an employee who works outside during the Mega Con convention on March 22, 2026. He had a very nasty attitude when speaking to us while we were talking to another guest we know. His behavior was rude and came across as discriminatory. This was very upsetting and should be addressed.

Ugh so disappointed!! It’s impossible to rest and relax here. First night and there’s a super loud outdoor concert (on a Monday night). Called the manager/front desk they told me the county has a permit so too bad. If I wasn’t stuck at the Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando for work I’d leave and never come back. Very disappointing!!
