Great trip! Bad Breakfast

Jason N (Orlando) on Sep 17, 2023

This resort has it all and only a few issues. The resort is large and offers several bars and restaurants onsite. A big beautiful resort with great things like Universal onsite for tickets. Great food and restaurants! Loved being served in the pool. Issues: Parking is far, they do offer a tram but it’s few and far between. And no tram late at night. Rooms a little dated with the big brown furniture. Breakfast was a huge issue when we were seated and the waiter pointed to his watch when the host brought us over to his table. We waited for about 10mins when he finally came over. We asked for menus only for him to tell us that the kitchen was too backed up and we should get the buffet. We wanted menus and didn’t want all that food. He then said well you can just get eggs at the buffet, when you get the buffet. He then disappeared, I went to the restroom and saw every other table had a menu but us. We ended up leaving without any food and very irritated. But all and all it’s a great resort. Would deff stay here again. But would NOT do the breakfast at the hotel.

One of the best resorts in Orlando

James f (North Miami Beach, Florida) on Sep 09, 2023

I've been visiting this property for many years, and it's still amazing. My recent stay was the first weekend of Sept. I self parked, and a lovely kind gentleman gave me a ride on his golf cart to the entrance of the property. There, I was greeted with a welcome smile from the valet. As I approached the front desk agent, Sarah JB, she was so warm and welcoming to where we stared talking as if we've known each other forever. Sarah repeated my request. I asked which was high floor with a good view. To my astonishment, Sarah upgraded me to the parlor suite. Wow. If you haven't stayed in the parlor suite, book and thank me later. The resort, along with the rooms, are always cleaned immaculately. Every time I walk in the hallways and come across a staff member, I'm always greeted. During my stay I went to thank Sarah for the upgrade, however, she was not working. Instead I spoke to the beautiful Ishara who's customer service was awesome and professional. I'll be back soon. Thank you for always making my stay tranquil.

We will return most definitely

KLH7981 (Leeds, United Kingdom) on Sep 09, 2023

We will most definitely stay here again, having returned from a 14 night stay on the 12rh floor overlooking the pools. We visit Orlando for family holidays once a year and we have stayed in quite a few places but I have to say this hotel was up there with being one of the best we've stayed in. Yes the car park is a little walk from the entrance, but, it's not that far like some e reviews suggest on here! We used to park and walk through the conference part to the lifts, taking advantage of the air conditioning. Sometimes the shuttle would arrive and we would hop on there to the entrance. It's really not a big deal, like some have made out. Check-in was very quick. Our room was of a good size for a family of four. Beds were very comfortable. Little fridge available, which was nice to come back from the parks and enjoy a cold Pepsi. Like a lot of hotels, the furniture is looking tired but to be honest you're hardly in your room as you're so busy out enjoying yourselves all day. The shower over the bath was fine. Housekeeping were prompt everyday. We didn't eat at the hotel as we prefer to enjoy eating out so cannot comment on prices etc The pool area was clean and plenty of towels available. The foyer was lovely, we always made a point of saying hi to the little finches. The hotel is situated perfectly location wise and it was lovely and quiet. A Publix is across the street for any provisions you may need. Disney Tips: Disney have sadly become a money grabbing organisation. 1. Don't pay for parking at a park - instead park for free at Disney Springs and hop on a Disney Bus (extra spending on ice creams ??) 2. The "lightening lines" are ridiculous! They now charge you to fast pass, causing those in stand by queues to wait even longer. 3. The cost of food/drinks is a total rip off It used to be so much better but after chatting to locals they agreed it's not what it used to be. Having said that, it's a magical place and if you plan ahead you can have an amazing time and it not cost you a small fortune. Rosen Shingle Creek we will be back!

I would stay here again

paularusia on Aug 30, 2023

Very large resort with a conference center. King size room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and AC worked great during the Florida summer heat. Bathroom was very clean and I always enjoy having a wide bathroom vanity outside of the actual bathroom where the shower and toilet are. This way I am able to put my make up on and do my hair, without having the steam of the hot shower getting in my way. Bartenders offered outstanding service. I even dropped off a little Disney dessert for our bartender friends at the end of our stay, to thank them for their hospitality and service. I would stay here again.
