Amazing Experience at Hyatt Ziva

I can not recommend this resort enough: * 20 mins from airport * Cleanliness - no idea how they can keep it this clean * Food selections * Staff * Pool/Beach * Fitness Center - unlike any I've ever seen (even nicer than the ones at home) Hyatt Ziva exceeded ALL expectations. I've visited Punta Cana many times and could rarely eat the food. I ate like a piggy this trip... even at the buffet. I think this buffet was so amazing because it was enclosed unlike most resorts in which it's open (breeding ground for flies as well). The staff were beyond amazing. So warm and friendly. Every time you would pass them, they would greet you with a hand over the heart. We stayed at the Club level and had room service twice a day.

Another Wonderful Stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana!

We just returned from another amazing vacation at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana and couldn’t be happier with our experience. This resort continues to impress us in every way, from the beautiful grounds to the delicious food and, most importantly, the outstanding service. While the entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive, there are a few exceptional individuals who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. A very special mention goes to Marilin Capellan at the Market Place Buffet. We met her during our stay last year, and she was so wonderful and kind to our baby that we were genuinely excited to return just to see her again. She remembered us and treated our family, especially our toddler, with such care and attention. It warmed our hearts. We also want to sincerely thank Jairo Gervasio and Jean Carlos (night supervisor) from the Market Place Buffet for their outstanding service and kindness, Jose M at Noodles (the Italian restaurant) for his professionalism and welcoming attitude, Luis Almonte at Navigator for his excellent attention to detail, and Amanda from the pool and beach bars, who always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed while relaxing by the water. Thanks to them, our family, especially our toddler, felt truly cared for throughout the trip. I am deeply grateful for their efforts to ensure we were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of every single day. We highly recommend Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana to anyone traveling with family. The service here is exceptional, and these incredible team members made our vacation extra special. Can’t wait to come back again!

The happiest place on earth.

The experience we had Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana was breathtaking and unforgettable, again! Anything I write here will not be enough! What made our experience so unforgettable were the people that worked there. - Our personal Butler: Juan was the main reason we came back. He has this professional attitude and positive outlook that was always consistent. He really enjoyed life and it showed. He would have everything brought to our room no matter what it was. I brought my firestick with me and he had a maintenance man come up and help me hook it up to the tv. The year before we used our phones to link to the tv but this was a little more convenient. We became good friends last year when my wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and it carried over to this year. We requested to have Juan be with us again. I had rented a scooter this year and it was a game changer for me. Juan had the scooter there for me when we arrived in the concierge office at check-in. Juan was incredibly thoughtful, considerate and someone we could laugh with. I usually do something nice for my wife on Mother’s but this year I couldn’t arrange anything for her. I told Juan this and he asked me to get him a photo and a few nice words. On Mother’s Day we turned on the tv and there was her picture with the words I wrote out. Not only that she had a beautiful bouquet of red roses with chocolate covered strawberries with champagne when we got back to our room. I mean WOW! Juan is a next level butler! Our ocean front room was the most relaxing we have had since we were here last year. We were able to sit out there all day if we wanted to without the sun beating down on us. We would save the sun basking for the infinity pool with the swim up bar, waiters and waitresses walking around serving us drinks. The cabanas were out of this world, once we got settled in they would bring us food and drinks right to the cabana. I loved being able to just roll into the infinity pool right off the cabana. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the entire resort. Early in the morning we would see the workers on the beach picking up remnants from the night before and then they would rake it.! It looked impeccable. Then I would look towards the infinity pool and there would be 3 workers cleaning any sand that blew into the swimming pool that night. I really can’t say enough of how clean they keep this resort. I can’t say enough about the workers at the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. Their enthusiasm, their passion for our happiness was amazing. We didn’t think our room last year was unbeatable but here we were basking in the beautiful day eating breakfast on our terrace watching the catamarans go sailing by. There were people playing volleyball, swimming and there was even a painting class going on for the youngsters. - The Wave Restaurant Manager: Patricio always had a smile for us and made sure he seated us personally. This made us feel really special. It was nice to come back again and see this professional attitude but it was more than that, it was a special bond we created from the year before that carries on through today. If we were to go back next year I know he would still remember us and would make us feel special like he has these last two visits. - Hotel Porter: Rodolfo was the first person we saw getting out of our shuttle and he has the biggest kindest welcoming smile I have ever seen. His presence instantly made me feel wanted and welcome. I remember him from the year before and he hadn’t changed. When he came to get our bags the day we were leaving he remembered our previous room number and how long we were there and that it was our 25th anniversary. A subtle but very thoughtful touch. - Concierge at the pool: Yefri, every morning when we came down to the pool he would have two chairs set up with towels and an umbrella opened up for us. There would be a spot cleared for my scooter too. He was ready to get us whatever we needed drinks, food you name it. He was always around ready to help us. - Concierge at the pool: Junior took over for Yefri and he didn’t disappoint either. He was always there to tend to our every need for the short time we had him there. - Entertainment Supervisor: Amado was an extremely thoughtful person. On my birthday he came over and asked what my favourite song was and then he played it on the pool sound system. He would come over to where my wife and I were and take time to chat with us and get to know us. - Room Service for breakfast: Jhonesfry brought us our breakfast every morning and was so pleasant and friendly and eager to learn how to say our name. He was a hard worker and very eager to learn our English language. He found out I loved the pineapple there so he brought me a whole plate. I loved it! We were pampered beyond belief here at the resort and its people like Jhonesfry that made it special. This is one holiday place we will keep coming back to time and time again.

Amazing Family Vacation

This was our first trip to the DR and to a Hyatt Ziva, but now it won’t be the last. The resort and the grounds were beautiful! Everything was always clean and kept up. The staff was all very friendly, but the person that pushed our vacation over the top was our Pool Concierge, Junior. From helping us set up our cabana everyday, to ordering bringing us lunch as soon as the restaurants opened, to always having a smile on his face, he deserves recognition! We will be back!

Great kids activities and wonderful food!

An incredible stay at Hyatt Ziva- My kids (11/8) had a ball. I think the star of this resort is the kid activity programing that's constant. My kids have been to quite a few all inclusive resorts and this one really did a great job of always having activities- from cupcake decorating, painting, water activities and more. The nightly movie night was a hit and of course the waterpark! Food was incredible- PARENTS do a date night and go to the steakhouse - get the tacos and thank me later. Huge shout out to Ana on the resort management team for her extra love towards my son for his birthday. Kids are already asking when we can return!
