Would highly recommend

Second time here- first time as a couple and second as a family. Absolutely excellent. Housekeeping is an absolute 10. I’ve never been to a resort that has such an amazing team- kudos! Kids club, waterpark and activities were all second to none. LOVED every second. Spa was the best, we did massage and scrub. My daughter got braids. Thank you to everyone. The food was amazing, my husband and son tried the Butcher show and loved it, if it’s in your budget I would go for it. Glenny at the coffee bar is one of my fav people. She’s so genuinely content and makes the best coffee. She always has pink lipstick! I’ve included some pictures of staff name tags who we thought were awesome. Also should out to the lifeguards around the pools. They are chill- but take no bs. The gym is wild, so good. Love the trainers

We enjoyed our stay. The ocean view from the room was amazing we enjoyed the sunrise each morning. One thing we wish they did was take reservations for the restaurants. We had a group of 12 so it was very difficult to get a table unless we ate dinner really early or really late. We had to wait 30-90 mins depending on the restaurant. I assume for smaller groups this wouldn't be as big of an issue. I would much rather wait that 30-90 mins in the morning and have a set time. We never knew what time we would have dinner and during the longer waits, the kids would get restless. Otherwise the food was great in the buffet. Don't pay for club level

I'll be honest, we had a mixed experience at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. First the good: The resort is beautiful, well maintained, has amazing facilities, good food and the staff are amazing. The staff were very friendly and were willing to do what they could for guests. Food-wise, we ate the most at El Marcado, because it had the most food options and generally was pretty good. Sometimes we had dinner in other restaurants, but we would end up back at the Marcado for dessert or post-dinner extras. Of the restaurants at the resort we most enjoyed Noodle and Thread and the tempest table. The pool-side BBQ for lunch was also very good. At the Marcado, you'll need to ask for the better quality food, so give yourself some extra time for things that weren't pre-prepared (ie: lobster, steak, lamb chops). The not so good: We paid extra for club level, and based on our experience would strongly not recommend it. We had check-in issues and multiple concierge issues that ruined our trip. It seemed that there was a problem in English translation across the staff. 1) Check-in: we arrived at 2pm and found out that the room was not ready. It took until 6pm for our room to be ready, and we didn't get the option to grab clothes from our suitcases to be able to relax on the property while we waited. 2) Digital concierge: We made multiple requests to help with reservations since we were a group of 12, as well as requested help with departure transport. In all instances the concierge didn't deliver on our requests. In making the departure transport, the team lied that a reservation was made. After waiting for an hour after our scheduled pick-up and speaking to multiple people, I found out that no transportation was booked. We had to make alternate arrangements and barely made our flight. Because of this experience, I have mixed-feelings about this resort. While it exceeded my expectation for an all-inclusive, it was definitely not worth paying extra for service. Because of this experience, I do not have interest in going there again.

It was a very fun experience, there were many activities in the hotel. I really liked the aqua bike activity with Jose. The beach was gorgeous and the service was amazing. They pay a lot of attention to everything. I really recommend this hotel for families. It has tons of activities for kids and adults and the food is delicious.

Fabulous getaway!

From start to finish, the experience was incredible! The front bar, morning staff (especially Cesar!) was fantastic. Amazing energy and always so happy and gracious! The staff were so accommodating and always with a smile. The water park kept the kids busy every day! There were so many activities for the kids. The magic show was awesome and the kids club had so much to do! Pizza making, daily movie night under the stars, bracelet stations, games on the beach … the options were endless! So much entertainment for adults as well - batting cages, archery, wine tasting. Our concierge Christopher was awesome! There was never a dull moment! One of the best all-inclusive experiences we ever had and we cannot wait to go back!
