During my recent stay at the Hyatt resort in Punta Cana, I was impressed by several aspects of the experience. The room service was excellent—timely, attentive, and thoughtful. The buffet was diverse and the quality of food was fantastic. The servers were incredibly hospitable, always smiling and willing to accommodate our needs. However, our experience was significantly dampened by the poor service from our assigned butler, Carlos Hernandez. I was traveling with my elderly mother, who is wheelchair-bound, and throughout our five-day stay, Carlos failed to check in on us even once. His lack of consideration and support was deeply disappointing, especially given the specific needs of our situation. Such negligence is unacceptable, especially at a resort that prides itself on personalized service. Hyatt should seriously reconsider keeping staff members like Carlos, as his attitude contradicts the otherwise high standards set by the rest of the team.

We had a large group of 31-which included adults and children ages 8-16. Everyone was beyond pleased with our week at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana! The staff was incredible- big shout out to Elvin for going above and beyond with activities for all ages! The food was great, fun entertainment every evening and exceptional service from every area of the resort! The kids loved the waterpark which was great addition to the amazing pools and beach! Would go back again and highly recommend this resort!!

Amazing property, amazing staff. Amazing food and drinks. I had the best coffees in my life at this hotel. Highly recommended. It’s worthy every penny, the hotel Itself it’s gorgeous, the staff it’s very friendly and attentive I couldn’t choose a better place.

Loved everything about this place. Everyone was so welcoming,nice and attentive. Especially Martin Jimenez! He made my mother’s birthday celebration extra special. He did such a womderful job and made us right at home. 10/10 experience, go with your family, friends or partner!

After visiting DR for years, I’d say this is one of our top stays and this is coming from a travel advisor. We had an amazing time at the Hyatt Ziva Capa Cana as a group of 36 (22 adults, 14 kids). Wish we had another week to enjoy all that we missed. The property, service, and food were 10/10. I cannot elaborate more on the service as it was truly amazing. The spa was beautiful and the kids entertainment team was so attentive. We encountered no issues at all which is pretty rare! Adults have the option to enjoy Hyatt Zilara (the adults only property) as well. I will say this property is a very laid back one with a relaxing vibe so if you’re looking for a “turn up” of any sorts, this is not your place. We enjoyed family time and great food and will certainly be back.
