Another Outstanding Visit with our Esmeralda Family

We have been vacationing at Bahia Principe properties since 2010, when we participated in a "destination wedding" in Jamaica. Since then, we have added 7 Bahia trips to our hotel experiences (Tulum, Mexico, as well as Samana and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Esmeralda ranks #1 among our favourites. The Punta Cana complex actually consists of multiple separate hotels; guests at Esmeralda have access to the specialty restaurants at most of the others, meaning that, during a two week stay, guests can enjoy a different cuisine almost every evening. But it was the level of service offered by the Esmeralda staff that was the most memorable feature of our stay. It seemed that everyone who works there endeavours to make guests feel like a member of their family and to undertake the "extras" that make an enjoyable experience a truly outstanding one. This year, we noted that a number of individuals actually remembered us from our trip a year earlier. It began with Greily Martinez at the front desk /reception area and continued with our concierge - Alfredo Javier Severina, who seemed to find a way to be helpful every day. At the pool bar, Alberto would always greet us with a friendly smile and a few kind words. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Esmeralda - perhaps as soon as Spring 2026, since we are now both retired. David and Rosemary McCaffrey
Great Vacation Spot

Great resort, too bad the no see'ums and sand fleas were in full force. Buffets, a la cartes, and entertainment was wonderful. Loads if variety. Room was very clean, the whole resort was well maintained. Having access to all of the other resort areas added to the trip. Golf cart trolleys were a great addition. Shout out to server Anderlin in the lobby lounge area - very friendly throughout our stay. Ivelisse in the M.E.A.T. restaurant was amazing. Adriana, one of the managers, was extremely helpful particularly after I was injured. Thank you all for making the trip special!!
