I decided to do a last minute trip and I had the best experience here! They had great activities throughout the day, specially the stretching at beach with Deverlys was excellent!! They have different restaurants you could go during your stay. I would definitely recommend it!
Worst experience ever - I will never go back

This is one of the worst resorts I’ve ever visited, and I travel frequently. Let’s start with the air conditioning—or lack thereof. You’d expect everything to be air-conditioned in the Dominican Republic in August, but unfortunately, the only place that was cool was our room. Even then, only half of our suite was air-conditioned when we arrived. It took two days and multiple calls to a reception that was difficult to reach (constantly busy, with no English-speaking staff) to get it fixed. My mother’s room had no hot water for three days. We were there for a wedding, and my brother had to wait over an hour in the sweltering lobby with four kids, including a baby, for his room to be ready. After a long day of travel, that’s simply unacceptable. The rest of the resort was a constant sauna—no air conditioning in the restaurants, buffet, or lobby. When we asked the staff why, they said the manager told them to save money by not turning it on. This was even true in the buffet! The other restaurants didn’t even have fans. To make matters worse, there was a sewer-like smell around the resort, including the lobby, which was disgusting. The beach was a disappointment—more like a swamp. Only a small area had clear water, and it was shallow, barely up to your knees, suitable only for kids. If you want nice waves and water, go to Bavaro Beach, not here. The staff was unfriendly, with no one smiling or making us feel welcome. It’s as if they’ve become complacent due to the constant stream of tourists. Very unfortunate! The food was okay, maybe 3/5—not the worst I’ve had, but certainly not impressive. The rooms had a decent view, but the furniture quality was poor. This is not a 5-star resort—more like 2/5 at best. And I almost forgot about the pools! They were unbearably hot, about 40 degrees, and filled with chemicals. There was nowhere to cool off except in your room. This resort was a massive letdown in almost every way.
