We love this resort, is so well maintained, beautiful installations and beautiful beach and pools, so clean, they have wonderful staff and always going above and beyond to meet your needs. We have gone many times and can’t wait to be back. Food is great and good variety, many yummy drink selections and fantastic shows. We had an amaizing stay from start to finish.

Alejandro Carrasco is very fluid in English , very smily , efficient. He is the Best waiter in the restaurants around . And the langousta are excellent , the Giant Shrimp served in puneapple are delicious ??!

I have been to this location twice with family (dif. hotels Maya Caribe and Maya Tropical), we go for a 6-7 nights every time. Its a large resort so lots of space, walking and things to do (several pools, private beach, Mall & shopping area for handicrafts, gym, spa, multiple restaurants & bars, at extra costs: water park for kids, surfing lessons, mini golf, bowling, pool game, escape room on site, etc.). Lots of variety on the food choices for all (fruit, salad, pasta, dessert bar, vegetarian and non vegetarian choices, omelet station, soups, plenty of drinks/juices, coffee, tea, bread, etc.), also several specialty restaurants that need reservation (incl. Mexican, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Sea Food..). Shows every night, entertainment by the pool (aquafit, zumba & games). Rooms are well kept, clean, beds are comfortable. Overall the place is well maintained. Service is great, staff is friendly and helpful - please tip them. Location - about 1hr drive South from Cancun airport (so it will cost you abt USD 80 one way) but then you are ~15mins to Xcaret parks. Some potential improvement needed: no protection from sun at the beach but plenty of areas by the pool. Towel areas are a bit far away depending on where you are placed. Check in process takes a long time - need to speed up the process or add staff at check-in times. They have some low quality shampoo, conditioner and soap in the showers, so if you are picky like me bring your own. Overall I love this place, its pretty decent and likely better than other resorts, so you get good value for the price you pay and a great experience guaranteed.
