Many thanks to great staff at Barcelo Beach resort - Samantha, Wendy P., Karen and Wendy G.! Our kids had a blast every time they went there. It was a long walk from Palace and Tropical Hotel section to kids club at Beach, but kids wanted only attend this special kids club. Thank you!

We just learned to surf with Edwin from barcello surfing He did a fantastic job with out 2 kids , first time surfing ever He made it simple and they had a blast Thanks Edwin for the lessons $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Do not reserve the basic rooms. reserve the higher rooms.Also, resort suites are amazing. without the help of FABIOLA FLORES JUAREL. I would be 100% unhappy

This resort exceeded our expectations and was a great place to go with our family! We definitely will recommend this resort!

We stayed Nov 20-27 and we had the BEST week! We travelled with our 2 kids, age 6 and 4, and with parents/grandparents. We had a connected room which was awesome - kids loved to be able to go back and forth between rooms. Food at the buffets was AMAZING, excellent every single time with so much variety and different food options every day. Kids loved the carosel in the mall as well as the mini golf. There’s a water park at the Colonial resort and we parked ourselves between that and the pool half the day every day. It had 10 slides and our oldest went up and down that water park for hours every day! The beach was lovely - soft sand and calm waves, water warm, clear and a beautiful turquoise colour. Good snorkelling right off the beach area with lots of fish and rays. We didn’t utilize night entertainment or wellness centre or anything so don’t know about those but loved being able to use the 4 middle resorts, it’s easy to walk between them. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend this resort complex!
