Best experience ever, thanks Mirian Soberano, water park is the best place

If you like noise this is the place for you. Peace and quiet for those seeking to relax is in another venue.

Great facilities and great resort. Chairs were always available at pools and beach (maybe it was the time of year we were there). Staff was great everywhere. Gym facilities were amazing and there were a variety of classes. Karina's spin class was great! I have celiac disease, and I felt very safe eating here. The servers at the a la carte restaurants were very knowledgeable about what I could or couldn't have, and at the buffet, someone always came and took a personalised order and my food was made fresh and separate. Overall was a great experience, and I would return.

Just got home from a great stay. We arrived on April 27th (relatively late evening 8PM)... the only hiccup and something we just rode with was that we asked for our swim up to have 2 double beds but they weren't able to accommodate - no problem. The check-in at premium guaranteed (I asked twice) that the two sofas had been made in to a bed, when we arrived to the room we found they had not been. We headed back up (we were going to find something to eat) and mentioned they actually weren't made up, so she said she'd get someone on it .. this was 9p.m, we ate at the sports bar and enjoyed some free time to wander around and see the lay of the land, got back to the room at 11 .. still no beds made up and nothing to do it ourselves (no extra pillows, blankets etc)... headed back to the lobby (at this point the premium lounge is closed) so we asked at the regular check in desk.... they told us the bedding is "far away" but they'd work on getting it done... we resigned ourselves to sleep 3 in a bed and settled in... at midnight .. knock on the door and beds were made... The resort is really beautiful, our swim up was fantastic, the bathroom lack of privacy we knew about so I brought a shower curtain and hung it up with little command hooks at the entrance and voila we had a nice change room. The Caribe pool was hopping and seemed to be the place to be... we had fun with the entertainment crew and there always something to do. We also tried an escape room (the one hour one) and it was so well put together it was comparable to the ones back home Housekeeping was great, fridge was stocked daily. No complaints whatsoever about the room. We didn't have key card , door opened with our wrist band , so that was a welcome touch compared to some people we ran into. Housekeeping was a little late one day (the resort really picks up on Friday/Saturday) so we get how busy she was, I called for towels around 4 and they brought some over, the housekeeper popped over around 5:30 to see if we needed anything else or if we wanted our room done up... We mostly ate at the buffet and always found something. We missed breakfast most days, and just ate at Captain Morgans instead for a light lunch , we aren't big breakfast eaters... We tried the Japanese and Italian (we had reserved them at the premium lounge at check-in and got the exact times we wanted 7:30 both time) The night life kept our party out most nights until 3 a.m. Between the sports bar and the disco it's very easy to make a night of it if you find the right group. The sargassum was bad most days but they work really hard to clean it so there were areas in front of the Colonial where you could enter and enjoy the ocean. Used Cancun Valet (as always) for our transfer and they were on-time and easy to find both times. All in all it was a fantastic vacation, the weather was perfect, we found the staff to be very pleasant and although we like to try different resorts I don't believe we would hesitate to return, I think we would just see if the Tulum airport is closer.

Miriam was so fun and helpful and made the experience so much better. She helped us learn how to do things that I didn’t think I would be able to do. ¡Muy divertidísimo!
