Lovely property, friendly staff and clean. The gym is top notch (although need more free weights) and they pools and beach are fantastic.

Just arrived back from an amazing 10 days stay with two teenagers at Barcelo Maya Cribe. The picture perfect Caribbean beach resort with great pools and lots of entertainment. Beach was perfect for snorkeling and not too much seaweed. Huge variety of buffet food so something for all the family and a tastes. Service was brilliant. All so helpful and friendly. Lovely garden view from our family room which whilst bathroom could do with an update had a great hot shower was, and was ideal for us. Although in American style family rooms, only get two beds so teenagers had to sleep in same bed so we had warned them and they were used to that when we travelled to USA before. Overall, can't fault it. Was worth the very long journey form the UK.

As a first-time guest, I loved the experience. We enjoyed our short getaway, and the food and service were excellent. I do recommend the hotel consider upgrading the rooms. My balcony door didn't lock, and the sofa didn't convert into a bed, so our 11-year-old daughter had to sleep with us.
