It was our first time trying out Surf Ride and our instructor Kevin was amazing! Very encouraging and understanding. So friendly ?? price was also reasonable 300 pesos per person. Hope to see you again Kevin!

Went to water park and had Andres as a wave rider instructor. He was amazing teacher and gave great tips to be a better surfer.

It would have been nice to been notified that there was a music rav going on in the adults only side. There were such a huge number of people, loud thumping music-could even hear it while snorkeling-the buffets were so full we were turned away from the manager and told to go to another buffet in the resort. There were drunk people walking around at night after the music finally stopped banging on doors. In the morning there was puke on the stairs and glass shattered on the ground. It ruined 3 of our 6 days we were there. Very disappointed.

We are here now and I wish I wasnt. Got sick with diarrhea and vomiting, and we haven't left their property, so we definitely got it from their food. Now on a random Thursday night we have to hear VERY loud live music until 1130pm. Horrendous vacation. Why is there live music this loud and not at any of their performance areas? I didnt come here to party, I came to relax. No where on their website did they warn of this bs. This is my 4th stay with Barcelo and I previously recommended it but this will be my last time here. I will also be doing the opposite of recommending it. Also just an FYI in case the person reading this still risks booking here, this was my first time booking directly from their website. Dont. Its cheaper with the other package websites which include the fees up front.

horrible experience overall. they dont tell you you need to check out and get your band personally taken off you by staff or else you're charged and outrageous fee!
