Enjoyed our stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun

We booked a Premium Deluxe room with the plunge pool. We would have preferred to have two queen beds instead of two double beds, but the resort does not provide that option. The double beds were a tight fit for two adults and two older kids. Also, the room layout did not provide much privacy to the bathroom. The infinity pool was nice with a great view of the ocean. The activities pool was also also nice with a variety of activities for both adults and kids. The entertainment team at the resort did a pretty good job as well. The food was pretty good at most of the restaurants. Our favorites were the Asian restaurant, Himitsu and the Italian restaurant, Portofino. Both restaurants had a good variety on the menu, including vegetarian options. We also enjoyed breakfast at the buffet restaurant every morning! There was a wide variety of options for food and beverages. Overall, we had a good stay at the resort, and would recommend to others.

Overall a good hotel

Clean, well kept hotel. Good service. Good choice of food at main buffet and most of the restaurants were good. The only issue I would say was that the evening entertainment is held outside the lobby steps and our room overlooked this meaning it was very noisy in the evenings when we were trying to put our baby to bed. It would be better if entertainment was held elsewhere indoors to minimise noise.

Hey hope this finds you well. This has been the far most worst trip we have booked considering it's our first family holiday. First of all they started decorating in a room with a family room door, not taking into consideration the people living in the rooms next door to the room. Our asthmatic baby woke up crying because of the fumes from the varnish. I rung concierge and told me they have no other rooms available till I went downstairs myself and made a complaint and was told someone will ring me in 10 mind for a room change. 20 mins went by after quickly grabbing our stuff for sake of baby and was after told can't get a room till 3/4pm. Great a whole day wasted due to the resort poor planning. I made it known my baby will need another nap at 2pm and need another room due to the varnish fumes lingering in our room. Also a manager for the guys decorating came in our room and advised us to complain to main reception. We recieved our room at 230pm after making a commotion, not something we usually do on holiday but had to for the sake of my son so he gets his nap and we ain't troubled and aee able to enjoy our holiday. So for this ½ of our day was wasted. Second point consider we was In a resort were they told us our mini bar will get refilled I got sick and tired of calling them to refill our fridge in our room, it was a service we paid for and was part of our package. I shouldn't have to waste my time calling them and asking them for a refill. Was this part misold or the resort trying to get away with it? Thirdly on 2 occasion once ordered a cesar salad was served with meat and 2nd time asked for nachos and said specifically salsa,guacamole and cheese and still served with chilli beans when my wife is a vegetarian. Its just poor customer service and clearly no regarded for individual dietary requirements, especially when beef is against our religion. Sadly this experience will effect us booking with you in the future. There were other people we met on this resort who also had poor experience, with situations as tiles falling in bathroom whilst they were in the bathroom. Hopefully you take my feedback into consideration. Also take into consideration us booking from this company again. This is a honest feedback, Kind regards

we got food poisoning from restaurants inside the hotel, whole resort looks like 3 star hotel, staff was trying to take advantage of us

I was recently here for my cousins wedding. We all had a great time. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. I highly suggest the bike tour its a quick ride to a small local market where you can purchase souvenirs, Miguel and Pedro were awesome guides!
