We had a pleasant, but short stay. It was only 5 days and we could’ve stayed another 5 days. The resort is nicely spread out, but still easily navigable. Most of your time will be spent either in the water or at the restaurants. Theirs a kids pool for families/small children. The infinity and Preferred Club pools are nice and relaxing. Some of the restaurants to choose from are the Asian, Mexican, Italian, Hibachi, and buffet. All were great and the service was wonderful. The staff throughout the entire resort were great. Everyone would smile and say hola. Our room was nice. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. Now, for some personal recognition. Martin Lara was our front desk check-in. He was great. The check-in process went smoothly and all our questions were answered. A perfect start to our vacation. Victor, the Hibachi restaurant manager, checked us in for our dinner. Just watching him in action, you could tell he knows what he’s doing and showed real leadership skills. When things were busy, he would help out the staff with any ancillary tasks. Such teamwork was noticeable with the entire resort staff. Miguel was our Hibachi chef at the Spice Restaurant. We loved our dinner and show. Miguel knew what he was doing. Chopping and dicing, catching knife blades with his bare hands, all while entertaining and making jokes. The whole table was laughing and clapping. Edwin was our waiter Carnival International Cafe. He was friendly, funny and personable. He made a dog out of a balloon animal for my 3 year old son. His face lit up when he saw it. Although, I’m sure the staff was very busy working hard, this small gesture meant a lot to us. It shows these employees care. Guillermo was our waiter at the Italian restaurant. He made us feel right at home. We appreciated his menu suggestions. Our evening dining at the Mexican restaurant, we had Ricardo as our waiter. We had some questions about a few of the entrees/appetizers, and he explained them perfectly. Isabel was the lady in charge of the omelet station. She was quick and on top of things. I loved getting a few omelets each morning. Francisco was our favorite bartender. We didn’t even mind walking back to the lobby just to get our drinks from him. The evening we dined at SPICE, we had Cristian as our server. He was friendly and personable. This is definitely a resort my family and I would return to. We hope to book another stay in the near future.

This place is absolutely gorgeous but, most importantly, the STAFF!! We had so much fun courtesy of the amazing wait staff. Particularly important to us were abdias at the preferred pool bar and Ethan in the lobby bar. Both of them were so sweet and greeted us with a huge smile each and every time, from day one. They made us feel so vip, it was hard not to believe it! Thank you all so much for such a wonderful stay!

Miguel was fantastic. What a talent. Also very entertaining. He was excellent. The food was great as well. I highly recommend the restaurant and Miguel!

Hibachi was great. Restaurant for lunch (Castaways) service was not great. Other than that service has been great. Luis and Cristian were great at hibachi dinner

Miguel made a great show in the japanese restaurant and Alberto made a great service. Everything was very delicous and the atmosphere those 2 created was very, very warm and friendly!
