Very underwhelming experience overall. The beach is not accessible at all due to the amount of seagrass, and there appears to be little to no effort made to clean it up. The smell around the pool area is terrible, which really affects the whole experience. Some of the male staff were also quite rude. I was told I couldn’t put an umbrella up myself for shade by the pool and that I had to request it, which felt unnecessary and frustrating. The drinks are heavily watered down, and the food is poor at best. Most of it is cold, and the portions are the smallest I’ve ever seen — and I’m not even a big guy. Room service was also freezing cold, so there was no point ordering it. The rooms are very average and could definitely do with being upgraded. There are no USB plugs anywhere, which feels outdated for a resort at this price point. Not every restaurant is open every night either; they rotate them, so your options are limited depending on the day. The best times I’ve had on this holiday have been when I’ve left the hotel and gone out for dinner elsewhere, which really shouldn’t be the case when you’ve paid to stay at a resort. There has also been construction going on at all hours, which is very off-putting. Overall, this hotel is not worth even half of what I paid. There are so many better options I wish I had chosen instead. Don’t make my mistake — save your money and book somewhere else.

Absolutely amazing experience at this hotel for my sister in law's wedding. The teppanyaki dinner was a highlight for our family. Luis, the chef, provided a wonderful, entertaining and fabulous display. My children were thrilled!!!

Luis is the best we've experienced at any of over a dozen UVC tappanyaki places we've visited across Mexico. His showmanship is top notch and his cooking is great. Highly recommended.

The whole team have been amazing! The bar staff and pool staff: Alvaro, Abdias, Fernando, Angelica, Eva's. Miguel helped make my birthday special with cake, cocktails and cabanna. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they were always happy to help. Thank you so much!

I came to Dreams Jade for my sisters wedding with my family and the service throughout our week here was wonderful! Each of the employees made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of - and the attention to detail on the day of the ceremony was top notch! Katia was very personable and made sure we knew exactly where we needed to be. There were 32 of us in total - so that was no small task!! Martin’s photography went above and beyond anything we could’ve ever asked; his photos turned out spectacular. Neftaly our server at the Spice restaurant was especially wonderful; and Luis the chef provided a memorable experience we will cherish! Another honourable mention goes out to Nora at the egg station in the breakfast buffet and I can’t forget Victor who hooked me up with plenty of Spanish lessons!! Thanks Dreams Jade, it was such a fabulous family trip and I’m so glad we got to celebrate together here.
