2 adults, 2 kids (7&9yrs), stayed for a week and had a fabulous trip. All the staff were lovely and super accommodating; literally every request we made was fulfilled, and quickly. Tons of wildlife to see (fish, lizards, cotis, little snakes, monkeys, birds!), lots of activities. The beach was beautiful and safe for the kids to swim and snorkel. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need, and relatively spacious for a basic room. The food was good, it's not epic but there wasn't a single meal that I can complain about. The buffet always has multiple stations where made to order food was, and the a la carte restaurants were solid. The pools are remarkably clean, lots of chair spaces available at both the pool and beach without feeling cramped. The access to the park was fabulous. Having carts that run regularly throughout the resort was a bonus as well (cuts down on walking for little legs). I would 100% go back again!!

1.The food is uncooked and the water is bad We were party of 12 and 5 of us were upchucking and diarrhea for 8 hrs. Had doctor come to room for $640.Wanted me to go to Hospital for $7000 us .We are avoiding travelers in Mexico, do not,I repeat, do not ever stay here, this hotel is tainted.Happy to respond to all

Perla and Xavier were very kind and helpful to me and my family. They both provided us with directions around the resort and greeted us with smiles each and every time we passed by the booth! This is the reason we love Occidental properties!

It is an amazing Hotel, great fully combines nature and infrastructure. It was amazing to walk by one of the natural paths and run into monkeys, coatíes, flamingos, guatuzas and others. The hotel's beach is amazing, I enjoyed swimming with many fishes of different colors and types. The food, rooms and service was incredible.

Wonderful family vacation. Felt very safe letting the kids roam the grounds. Watching the animals between 4-6 near the Royal desk, being next door to two amazing parks, lounging at the beach were all highlights. We will be back!
