Had supper at Sumptuori, Japanese restaurant and the food was excellent! Our waiter Jesus was very helpful and attentive. It was an awesome experience all around. Highly recommended!

For what they charge, you could go elsewhere and get a whole lot more bang for your buck. Everything is a near endless series of up charges for what would be considered relatively basic amenities of a resort of this size. The things they do well, are great - general transport staff are great and friendly. As for the rest, it gets stale quick and there’s an air of dismissiveness and unwillingness to help from the front desk (any help they do give is guised as a massive favour they deigned to provide), and outright rudeness from most bartenders if you don’t speak Spanish. There are plenty of language barriers in the restaurants as well, which makes navigating food sensitivities difficult - this is concerning given the size of the resort. All around, while the pools and beaches were somewhat pleasant, for the cost you can and should spend your money elsewhere.
