We had very nice holidays. Friendly staff. Nice and clean resort, rooms, restaurants. Lovely entertainments. Recommended chec and bingo show. Beach is lovely clean and sand.

For 2024 I can only rate this resort with max. 3/5 stars in comparison to 2022s 5 stars. I am really gutted by the fact that you have torn down the Romance Villas instead of renovating them. Instead you built the family selection nonsense. It really doesn't fit in the resort. Whoever came up with this idea should be fired. You are really on the wrong path. From being a wonderful, tropical, nature bound resort, you are more and more getting on the commercial trace and focus on families what I really don't get. To put this into perspective: - You have torn down the Romance Villas without replacement. - Family selection guests have their own air conditioned restaurant while ,,normal guests" have to share one poolside redtaurant without AC. - On a daily basis there were big queues in front of the way too small poolside restaurant, no matter if breakfast, lunch oder dinner. Annoying! The root cause of this is the seperate family selection restaurant and "Le petit chef (either for mature children or "real children)". - Children have their seperate pool with slides and so on which is fine for me BUT one third of only ONE MAIN POOL is occuipied by a plastic water castle. Furthermore for a few hours children can ride slow electric jet skis + the water was SO warm. As you can see this resort is only focusing on families. What a shame! Moreover there is nothing really you can do after having watched the show. There is neither a disco nor anything else where you can hang out with many people. The only thing you can do is sitting in the lobby and have some drinks. Not really satisfying if you do this for two weeks. Additionally there is not enough sand at the beach. There is so little sand that you already see the concrete... Last but not least the room doors are SO loud. Everytime a guest enters or leaves a room - you will wake up. Apart from the cons there are of course also pros: - Beautiful, well maintained and well integrated resort into the mangroves -> BUT too many renovations simultaneously - Many wild animals like Monkeys, Iguanas, Agutis, Coatis, flamingos and some more - Food is seasoned well - Friendly staff - Bar at the beach - Evening show -> especially Beto is such a valuable dancer. Even though I am a person who doesn't enjoy evening shows in hotels, this is really nkce to watch. Of course the other dancers are nice too but Beto did it bedt in my opinion.
