Didn’t feel all-inclusive and staff are miserable

My family’s stay at Divi was quite disappointing. While we had amazing amazing service from Laurel at Slice Pizza, Roger (one of the drivers), Michel at Pureocean dinner buffet and J at the pool bar, we cannot say the same about the majority of the staff. It was extremely apparent that the staff do not want to work at the resort and it was often faster to get food or drinks yourself. Staff frequently talk amongst themselves and it often felt like you were inconveniencing them when you asked to order. In contrast, Laurel, Roger, Michel and J always greeted us with a warm smile, made sure we were taken care of and remembered our names and orders only a few days into our trip. Although we purchased the all-inclusive package, there were numerous rules and restrictions that diminished our experience and value. We were required to sign a receipt for every single drink and meal, and all-inclusive guests were not allowed to bring food back to their rooms. In addition, some restaurants charged extra for adding items to meals. On checkout day, we were not allowed to eat anything after breakfast, while on our arrival day we were only allowed dinner. Every all-inclusive resort allow guests to eat and drink until departure, so this felt like poor value for a 7-day all-inclusive vacation. My family chooses all-inclusive resorts for convenience, and unfortunately, Divi did not provide that experience. On a positive note, the food and drink variety was excellent, and meals were consistently well-seasoned and delicious. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the resort’s location near Philipsburg was very convenient. Overall, I would not recommend Divi Little Bay.

Warm hospitality, relaxing stay

Excellent venue close to great restaurants in the area, with 10-minute rides. Pleasantly impressed with Management and Staff. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and a true extension of this nice venue. Zero noise. Good fitness center. Good menus at their Restaurants. The beach at this Hotel is clean, wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. Efficient beach bed set ups. Our overall experience at Divi Little Bay was delightful from start to finish We had an unforgettable vacation and we highly recommend this property.

Great resort!

We loved our stay at Divi! The pools were cute and had unique features with waterfalls everywhere, infinity edges, a firepit in the middle for night time talks, and colour lights for nighttime swims. The beach was also great. No rocks or seaweed and fine sand! Always enough seats available at both the pools and beach that there was no need to get up early and claim seats like you see at most other resorts. Staff was excellent. Food took a bit longer than other places to get but that was because it was all being cooked fresh and tasted amazing! The burgers at Gizmos are the best!!!

Triple A 5 star vacation

Our yearly home away from home! Location, resort, and warm and welcoming staff always makes for a fantastic trip. Activities, amenities, and social functions contribute to a memorable vacation. Every time we leave we start a countdown to returning. Surely GOD must live here. Paradise!!!

Coach in coffee

During breakfast at the resort, I had a very disturbing experience. After being served coffee, I discovered a roach inside my cup. Finding an insect in food or drink is unacceptable at any establishment, especially at a resort that presents itself as a quality destination. This raises serious concerns about hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the dining area. I reported the issue immediately, but the experience itself ruined my breakfast and negatively impacted my stay. Proper sanitation and pest control are basic expectations, and this situation fell far below those standards. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the issue promptly so future guests do not experience the same problem.
