Hotel can use some work

Currently finishing up our week long, all inclusive stay at Divi Little Bay and the grounds of the hotel are well kept for the most part, but the rooms and service really could use some work. Food: 3.5/5 Service: 1/5 —- my husband and I sat at Gizmos for 10-15 minutes with no one waiting on us. There were times we got up and left, as no one seemed to care that we were waiting to put in an order for food. The best bartender this hotel has is Sandy at Pureocean pool bar, who was great every time we went. Shout out to him for the great service. A lot of the restaurants weren’t open when they were “supposed to be” based on schedule. Rooms: 3/5 - rooms weren’t super clean and could use some updating. We stayed in a studio suite and there was still some minor trash left behind from previous guest (bottle caps, etc). Rooms are cleaned every other day if you don’t stay in new Oceans building. Hallways leading to the rooms are outdoor and pretty dirty. Studio suites are also pretty far from main area where pools/bars are. Resort grounds: 4/5 - The beach and pools were clean so this is a plus. You only can get beach towels 9-5 each day. No one will take them beforehand even if they’re at the front desk. This system could be better… Overall, we loved the island of St Maarten but I don’t know if I’d come back to this resort in particular.

Just Beautiful

This place is so beautiful & clean. They have a couple of on-site restaurants that were good. The infinity pool was awesome. Some employees were not friendly but most were. Golf carts drive you all around the resort, so bring tip money! There are a few little stores right there incase you're left anything behind.

Good day.I would like to recommend Mr.Colins,Elvis,Eddie,roger,Max,omelette station gentleman cannit remember his name and also Mimi. Exceptional service. One thing I would like to give a feedback on the service at pureocean restaurant (breakfast).while we were sitting diwn and going for our second round,the check was presented to us. We felt like we were being rushed.If someone can follow up on that.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Even with accident, wonderful experience

Where to begin! Beautiful, beautiful resort. Lovely rooms, great food, and oh, the wonderful beach and pools. I cannot say enough about the excellent staff. They more than rose to the occasion when I fractured a bone while on the beach. The General Manager, Ann Marie, came to be of assistance. In fact she helped carry the stretcher. The care at the hospital was excellent. I would go back in a heartbeat - to the resort not necessarily the hospital. lol

Well-Kept Resort with Beautiful Grounds

Vert nice resort with well-kept grounds and a nice beach to swim at. Underwater statue garden is new and fun to snorkel to. Resort is fairly quiet and there are food and drink options on-site if needed. Room was spacious and clean. The water went out a few times in our building due to power outages on the island and the air didn't work in the bedroom. Staff and manager at the front desk were not helpful during our stay, but the General Manager made it a point to rectify the situation very quickly after sending an email regarding the issues we encountered once we got back home. Besides the issues, the resort itself is very nice. The grounds are very spacious and spread apart with a couple of steep hills to climb in some areas leading to the rooms, but they do offer golf cart services to take you around the resort if you call the front desk. The buildings do not have elevators, so if you have any sort of difficulty with stairs, make sure to note this on your reservation and verify it prior to your arrival. We are planning to return as we love the Divi Resort brand and think the issues we had were a one-off.
