Beautiful, tranquil & relaxing oceanfront resort in a beautiful setting!

This is a beautiful oceanfront resort in a private, quiet area of St. Maarten, just minutes away from all the shopping on Front Street in Phillipsburg. All the rooms are ocean front & offer a beautiful vista of either Little Bay or Phillipsburg, where all the cruise ships come to port. One of the best features of the resort is how the layout offers many different pools, lounging areas, restaurants…all with a different perspective. In some ways, the property is showing some wear, but it’s easy to look beyond that. Some people will also complain that the staff isn’t friendly enough & service is slow. If you’re headed to the Caribbean, everyone should know that you’re on “Island Time” & the pace is slower. I found the restaurant to all offer something different & 5 to choose from. The rooftop bar called The Mix has incredible views & is a must see.

Rooms were clean, view was amazing, beach was so beautiful. Plenty of food options, friendly staff. Good time was had by all.
Please don't stay here for your next family vacation!

I would highly recommend NO ONE to stay at this resort. We had no AC for multiple days, TV and phone were broke and not replaced until near the need of our stay. There was a fight to get beach towels every morning, and angry guests were every where getting frustrated with the staff. In addition, they never replace towels in the room. Our room also had a major bug infestation, that we just had to live with. The pool facilities are not using the correct combination of chemicals, and the pool area is falling a part in many areas. Tiles coming off at pool, and odd smell due to lack of correct chemical usage to clean pools. They do not provide a sufficient way to communicate with staff. Also, many angry guests at check-in and check-out...looking for towels, maintenance items not being fixed, rooms not meeting needs...a variety of issues. We LOVED St. Marteen, however we'd encourage no one to step near this resort. This resort is not a great representation of the the awesome island of St Marteen, and the wonderful people that call it home. I'm thinking they may not have good management, or don't pay and treat their employees well. I've communicated this to the staff at Divi, and I'm open to providing a response here, after they've reached back out.

This place is in the perfect location. Close to shopping and area beaches. It also offers different tiers of all inclusive at reasonable prices. The resort offers 7 restaurants, and various pools. Perfect for families, couples , and everything in between. It is quiet an very relaxing.
Wonderful people. Overworked understaffed. Management fail. Won’t return.

Management /exec decisions set stage for failure. Almost all of the staff were warm, friendly, caring and gave us their best but the resort is woefully understaffed. The staff works overly hard and the place needs 20-30% more in all departments. Bartenders leaving their post for 20 minutes because there is no runners to restock. Constant shortages. 35 guests to check out and only a single person at the desk. Room only cleaned 1/2 of the days. Food was 6.5-7 /10. Poolside pizza place closed Wednesday to give the one person working 6 days a week the day off. HIRE MORE PEOPLE. We went out of our way to thank many staff members directly but overall disappointing in the place. We will not return.
