Just spent a great week at Blau Varadero. Pros: friendly staff, rooms cleaned perfectly daily, beach and pool were always clean and didn’t ever have a problem getting a lounger, lots of entertainment geared towards different likes, à la carte restaurants had fantastic meals and buffet always had plenty to choose from. Cons: 4pm check in left us sitting around and waiting for several hours, smoking seemingly allowed throughout the resort was annoying and off putting, elevators sometimes took a long time to come. I had the select upgrade which have an higher ocean view room, separate section at the buffet restaurant with service at breakfast, special section at the beach with wait service, access to the Chill Bar, and discounts on massage (which I didn’t do). I’d say it was worth the extra charge. Overall this is a fantastic resort with way more pluses than minuses. I would definitely return and have already recommended to others.

We had a wonderful experience at Blau Varadero Resort! The hotel was beautiful and well maintained, and the food offered a wide variety of choices every day. There were so many fun and interactive activities throughout the day that never made us feel bored. My favorite was the foam pool party — it was amazing and so much fun! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always approachable. A special shout-out to Lazaro from the animation team — he is the best! Always smiling, kind, and full of energy. He even taught me how to dance Cuban style, which made our trip extra special. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, and I would definitely love to come back to this hotel again. Highly recommended! ????

Had a fantastic stay and found the resort and grounds beautiful and well maintained. The pool is very large and the beach is just a short scenic walk from the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun. The animation team is amazing, thank you to Lazaro for making this week more memorable. Customer service was excellent, Alberto from reception was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond in making our stay perfect. The food was very good especially the international al la Carte ! Bars had great variety in liquor and bartenders are quick and attentive while making great drinks. Hotel is a short 10 mins from Varadero making trips to the town very quick. The hotel is very large but the resort is smaller and easy to navigate. The lobby is spectacular has a beautiful vine and garden. Would recommend this resort to anyone looking to come to Varadero!

Loved the views, enjoyed the beach, food is 8/10, rooms 9/10 music 10/10, atmosphere absolutely amazing, the staff is wonderful

I can not begin to describe how amazing this place was. This was my first trip to Cuba and I’m so happy I chose this place as my first ever all inclusive resort. The staff are unbelievably nice and friendly. When we first got there, we were told the room we booked with the ocean view and the view of the pool was sold out due to an issue or something however, they told us we could have our room in 2 days or if we stayed in the room they gave us, they would update our bracelets to the premium ones which ment more unlimited Al Le Carts, 50% of the Spa, different area to eat breakfast and access to the other Bars that are only for premium (The Chill Out Bar) so we absolutely took it. Let me tell you, The Chill Out Bar? Was our favorite. They had the BEST drinks in all of the resort; The vibe was so nice; the staff was great there. We didn’t get the bartenders name but the server Adylice (hope I spelt it right) was our favorite server. She was welcoming and sweet, always talked to us and we had great conversations with her. We just loved loved LOVED everything about The Chill Out bar. Then we also experienced the 24hr bar by the beach and met the awesome cook of Juan Carlos; he was a super dope dude that we connected with super fast on the first day and become good friends. We loved spending time there too and chatting with him and the bartenders that were there. The beach? Beautiful The Pool? Was our favorite spot to hang out at. The entertainment by the pool? super great too. Got to play the Blau Game and won some rum then I played water polo for the first time and had a hell of a time. There’s honestly nothing bad I could ever say about this resort. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with the greenery and the rooms were always clean and in tip top shape. I can not wait to go back and experience this resort again because this was 10/10 fun, memorable and outstanding. I’m going to miss this place so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the staff that made this trip enjoyable. Me and my partner will never forget this place. Thank you for the hard work you always shown to make sure everyone was entertained.
