Top location and good beach

Colin C (Jersey, United Kingdom) on Jan 17, 2026

Loved this hotel it’s right on the beach the rooms were really nice and clean we had a fantastic time here! Breakfast was delicious, in fact all the meals we had were pretty good. Staff were all super helpful and friendly. Overall a really good hotel in a great location. The beach bar was great especially at happy hour 2 for 1 rum punch’s 4 - 6 When you get in the sea there is a little reef and it’s pretty good for snorkelling. Probably the only minor thing was rooms not very sound proof could hear the buses beeping and did wake me most mornings but soon got used to it. We would defo come back

Good rooms, terrible food

Oliver M (Budapest, Hungary) on Jan 15, 2026

My room was absolutely comfortable and well maintained with an ocean view, for that and the pool area atmosphere the hotel gets 5 stars from me. However the hotel associated dining options are far from what I would have expected from a hotel like this. Jake’s is okay overall, with attentive staff, also the food was okay. I made the mistake of three times overall to try “Captain Charlie’s” for lunch once and “Coco’s beach restaurant” twice. The food was mediocre at best, especially in Coco’s. The last time I ate there the food was actually borderline inedible, which was a huge disappointment, especially that my order was straight off the printed menu (mind you - the online menu shows items they don’t actually offer). Even though there are limited food options nearby, especially in the evening, I’m absolutely disappointed with the overpriced, hardly edible options that Charlie’s or Coco’s offer. I wish I walked farther or have eaten sand instead.

Thanks to Coconut Court!

T-Bone1968 (Kendall Park, New Jersey) on Jan 10, 2026

We were scheduled to leave Barbados on the day of the US invasion of Venezuela, and needed a new place to stay until we could get a flight home. We found Coconut Court, and we were so warmly welcomed and accomodated. And very pleasantly surprised! The beach is of course quite lovely, with and artificial reef that attracts colorful fish. The service was excellent, from the wait staff and bartenders, housekeeping, and front desk staff (special shout out to Candra Rollins, the reservations manager who helped us through our situation and could not have been nicer!). The food and drinks in the restaurant was quite good, and they had a special poolside BBQ that was lovely. If I have any complaint it is that the rooms are a bit dated and small. Bud you're not there for the room, are you? It was clean, quiet and in my opinion a good value for the money. And we could tell that people keep coming back year after year, judging from the interactions between the other guests and the staff. Thanks again to everyone at Coconut Court for all of your help and hospitality!

Avoid! Dinosaur in need of customer service training for management

Valerie X on Dec 31, 2025

Avoid if you wish to relax. Someone told us that if you can’t show up to work with a pleasant attitude in the service industry then don’t show up at all. The management need to take note. We loved the workers but there were a Catalogue of more serious issues that they could not resolve without escalating to the managers: including a bed that broke 4 days running. The aircon leaked across the floor into our clothes. A daily ask for hangers was ignored for 5 days. Being charged for things that were included and having to resolve the issue over days. Getting beach towels (the hotel is on the beach) was Farcical. Straight out Of Fawlty towers. Could have dealt with it if the managers didn’t have the audacity to question the validity of the issues. And then ask us to download a QR code to check all the fine print. Staff had to back us up to concur that our asks about each issue were legit. It got tiresome We booked for 14 nights at great expense. I blame the private owners who need to ensure clear comms and better attitudes and customer service. New venues are cropping up locally that will have equal beach views and access but will surpass this dinosaur with top notch service and professionalism. And towels.
