Location, location, location

Hotels are much of a muchness. The staff here stands out, they are very friendly; they all spoke to us each time we passed them, really engaging, even at night. Mentioned that it was my birthday when we checked in and when we returned from snorkeling, there was a very lovely suprise left in our room for me (see photos). They just put effort into our stay and we valued that very much. The tour desk assistant was superb. She had great ideas, was very helpful and made immediate calls to ask questions about what we wanted. The location though is first class, the best option on the island. You are near the boardwalk strip of beaches, you're walking distance to Lanterns Mall, Blakes, you are one bus ride to Oistins, you're walking distance, if you're adventurous, to Bridgetown, you can walk to the horse race track and you can definitely walk to Pebbles Beach and Carlisle Bay beach. This location offers just about everthing. The beaches on this end aren't the best, but you are not far from Carlisle Bay. Several buses go by taking you to Bridgetown, Silver Sands, even a bus direclty to Speighstown which goes past Hole Bay. Oh, the welcome drink on arrival ??

Wonderful stay

This was our first time back in Barbados and the Coconut Court since our honeymoon 29 years ago and it didn't disappoint. The staff are wonderful , always friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We stayed in an Ocean view room which had fantastic views of the hotel's beach . We spent most of our time on the beach. it has plenty of sunbeds and shade and the beach bar is excellent. The food in all three restaurants is nice and reasonably priced and the hotel is very close to plenty of other restaurants ands bars within walking distance or a short bus/ZR van ride . We did Ted's Tours island tour. Ted's family own the hotel and his tours are not to missed . He also does snorkeling trips with his son Lee. Both were highlights of our stay. A wonderful family owned hotel , we can't recommend highly enough.

Honest review All Inclusive info

Bird614 (Brisbane) on Jun 02, 2026

Honest review/ All Inclusive The hotel is great. The location is very nice. Bus stop right outside, you can walk to board walk and the boardwalk bars. The main hotel is facing the sea, the little apartments are across the road. I had an apartment – it was perfect, fridge with ice and tap water to drink good aircon and plenty of space. Room cleaned daily. Beach towels and toiletries provided. If you can – pay to upgrade to the ocean view rooms. The beach area is really nice, you can walk along the beach there is plenty of space with both shade and full sun. Loads of sun loungers available. Yes the sea is a little rocky – but just bring rock shoes. When I was there in May there was A LOT of seaweed so it did not look ideal, but you could still swim beyond it. Pool area also nice with loungers, seats and bar stools. All the food there was so good and the frozen cocktails, wine and beer was great. I went all inclusive as I was traveling solo, which I recommend but here are a few tips to be aware about AI as they do not explain this well. Breakfast is: only 1 item from the menu, 1 juice, 1 black tea or black coffee, lattes etc is pay only. Once day I also ordered an extra bowl of fruit and it cost me €17 – crazy prices. Black coffee can be obtained from the bar in the morning time. The beach bar Charlies – when it opens – rather than signing your ticket for each drink order ‘open a tab’ and sign one ticket at lunch. E.g. I would get a coffee in the morning, a few sodas, then a cocktail and beer and food at lunch and just sign one ticket then. For the afternoon if you are having a few drinks do the same thing. Lunch and dinner was great, very tasty and lots of choice. 2 courses at lunch and 3 at dinner. Plus drinks. I think you also get some credit to use at Jakes across the road – ask about this. I ate there one night, I loved it, very good service, nice atmosphere and great food. The staff seem a bit uninterested and indifferent, they are not rude and the service is fine – if a bit slow, but I was expecting more of a warm welcome. Overall it’s a great place. Very good value as the island as a whole is expensive. They can order you taxis there (probably cheaper than Uber) and organise tours. All prices in Barbados are either in Barbados or US dollars. I had to exchange euro currency which was not the best rate. Also I had a late evening flight, ask to book the courtesy room to shower before you go. Its perfect – shower, soap, towels, mirror etc

Great value and excellent location

We stayed an entire week and came to realize what a gem Coconut Court was compared to other properties we saw on the island. Our premium (renovated) room had a private balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The room was adequately spacious, laid out like many business hotels. Nice TV, fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker (no coffee), and kettle. Great shower and hot water. A convenience store was nearby. The beach was beautiful and quiet with plenty of beach chairs, although not as calm and clear as Pebble or Carlisle Beaches. The restaurants and beach bar were okay. Jake's across the street was excellent and fun. The location is midway between the boardwalk strip of beach bars and the Bridgetown garrison area, but walking on highway 7 is not easy because of poor sidewalks and traffic. But there are stops for the fun local buses just outside the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a great value and excellent choice for

A real taste of paradise.

A return visit to one of the best priced, well located and nicest places to stay in Barbados. Excellent rooms, fully equipped with all you need to make the most of your time here. Constantly cleaned, very efficient and friendly staff be it on your arrival to making great food and drinks at Charlie's beach bar or in the main Coco's restaurant. The breakfast package is definitely recommended, plenty of well done choices that set you up for the day. The beach is superb, you feel safe, relaxed and comfortable and nothing is too much for the security guys either setting up the beach chairs with a smile or just having a pleasant chat. Trips are easily booked through the activities desk, the little shop is good and nothing is too far away. So glad we decided to return again, here's to the next time.
