Five stars and then some!

What a lovely, relaxing stay at Coconut Court Beach Hotel! A warm and hospitable front desk staff welcomed me at check-in, which was a great indicator of how my vacation would turn out. The staff explained all the hotel amenities and gave me a handout with important numbers and activities I might be interested in during my stay. Jabari, one of the front desk employees, then helped with my luggage and accompanied me to my room. He was super friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. My deluxe ocean front room was spacious and well appointed, but most importantly, it looked exactly like the photos on the hotel website. Spectacular views of the ocean! The beach was absolutely beautiful — crystal blue waters, flour-soft sand and coconut trees for shade. In addition, hotel staff was constantly present to set up your beach chairs. This family-owned hotel located on the popular South Coast is unbelievably well-run with so much to do on the premises. I barely left the property! I enjoyed the daily activities provided by the hotel, such as Thursday seafood festival, Friday fish fry and Saturday bonfire and s’mores. The three onsite restaurants, one with ocean views, served delicious food all day long. The manager was also quite visible and hands-on. Always chatting with the guests and not unusual to see him checking on guests at the beach. The overall hotel atmosphere was easy going and friendly. In fact, I met several guests who were repeat guests. Other notable pros for the hotel is arranging roundtrip airport transfers at reasonable cost, a nice hospitality suite and a well-stocked gift shop! I had the unfortunate (or fortunate) case ?? of my return flight being canceled twice, which required me to stay two extra days on the island. Both times I frantically called the hotel from the airport to request accommodation for the unexpected extended stay. Given that this was high season for Barbados, the front desk employees worked their magic to secure a room for me on not one, but on two flight cancellations! And each time I returned to the hotel looking weary from my travel woes, the staff welcomed me back with a big Bajan smile! What a crew! Coconut Court Beach Hotel — ?????????? Five stars all the way around! See you again next year!
Little Gem

This is a little gem of a place. A fantastic beach front location, friendly staff and good food. Safe sea bathing with plentiful free loungers on the beach. The rooms are comfortable if basic. Easy access to Bridgetown and the south coast.
Excellent Budget (for Barbados) Beachfront Resort.

We booked this resort VERY last minute (21:00), when our plane returned to Barbados with mechanical issues. We booked it through expedia, with it being one of the low cost options (relatively speaking only) available (and with very limited availability on the island). We partly picked it because we were familiar with the location having ate lunch there on the beach just before heading to the airport for our doomed flight. It was located across the street (and on the beach) from Marriott Courtyard where we stayed the night before. The room we got was actually across the street as well in their Annex. This was actually a 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen etc.. Very spacious and clean, thought not with the new polish of the Courtyard next door. Breakfast the next morning was adequate. 3 star hotel, but we decided that for the price, beach location, and service we should have stayed there earlier instead of our ill fated 5 star experience at Crystal Cove earlier in the week. Nothing is cheap in Barbados, but relatively speaking we found this location a great "budget" experience for anyone so inclined. There are 2 great restaurants across the street in addition to its own beachfront restaurant.
Till the next time…..

We have just returned from another stay at Coconut Court. Stayed for 19 nights and could have stayed longer . Thank you for noting room location request and grateful that this could be allocated. We love the beach there. Grab one of the many loungers and put it where you want. No lines of beds here! There is plenty of space and shade under trees when you want it. We used Captain Charlie’s for drinks and lunches and generally had a positive experience. Most of the team are really friendly, smiley and chatty. However, sadly we had a similar experience to a guest in previous review and found that one member of staff very hostile and rude - never smiled and rolled his eyes, huffed and would not engage if you tried to talk to him. Opposite of Hadfield who always had a smile and friendly chat. We enjoyed rum punch and wine during happy hour but would have liked bottles of banks beer. Personal preference but don’t like the canned beers. The men looking after the grounds were always busy and did a great job. Our room was great. Room well looked after by Lisa. We had a comfy bed and no issues. Beach towels provided and new ones given every 3 days. Activities included a fitness instructor this time - stretch on beach, walking football, beach walk etc. Enjoyed what I got to but would be good to know earlier what is on as some are first thing in morning. Hope more people will attend and support so this carries on. We ate at - Captain Charlie’s at hotel - great fish cakes Chill - on boardwalk. Happy Hour 5-7 Lanterns mall - Chutneys, Belle Pepper, Tagores Shakers - went twice but need to book Just Grillin - Quayside Seafood Shack and Tikkles beach bar - Opposite 6 mix My Friends Place - great night with singers Cocktail Kitchen Champers - went twice as so good! Book railside, Cuz’s for a fish sandwich The Nothing Box Pier 1 - went twice, one breakfast and one lunch Round House Enterprise beach Oistins at lunchtime We used car for one week and then ZRs, pick up app and pre booked taxi. Lots of options for eating and easy to get around. We went on 2 Catamaran trips - Calabaza and Good Times. Both great days but liked that Good Times had bottles of banks (theme here…), mac pie and sailed West Coast avoiding busy Carlisle bay. Coconut Court is an easy choice for us and we look forward to returning. Thanks team!

Sitting on our patio area for our last night on our 6 th visit. We had a fantastic time in what we view as our little piece of paradise. Why do we and countless others keep coming back ? Well I think it's something to do with the fantastic beach location, the friendly and welcoming staff who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.Yes there are no elevators here but if you have mobility issues and let the staff know in advance I'm sure they will do their best to accommodate you on a ground floor roomif possible. We are looking forward to our next 2 weeks in paradise next February
