Compact little hotel. Very small room. Great view, though. Nice to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Good location for food and shopping.

Terrific location, walkable to everything in Waikiki. Everyone we interacted with (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast staff, and security), went above and beyond. Every employee was warm, welcoming and helpful. We had a minor issue with our room and were moved to a room with a beautiful ocean view. The pool, hot tub, fitness room, mini golf, ping pong, were all clean, and provided fun and entertainment. The included daily breakfast was a nice bonus. Parking garage spots are tight (recommend a small car if renting one). Room was very clean and cozy (two queen beds). Lots of hot water, large closet. Our corner unit had plenty of light with large windows, and nice blackout curtains. A/C was quiet and cold. All in all a surprisingly wonderful stay for the very reasonable price (Kama’aina rate). Will definitely be back!

A pleasant surprise - small but highly updated and comfortable room. Clean and modern decor. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. Free breakfast was included. A short 10 minute walk to the beach. An excellent value (check for AAA rates). Only downside is the size - 44 floors - and very slow elevators at peak times (like breakfast).

Do not Stay at this Holiday Inn Express the Oceanview room I stayed in was very small and wasn't worth the money. You have to stand up to see the view (water) in the distance outside your window. It was only one chair to sit in when my friends visited. The water fountain didn't work, housekeeping shortage, and stains in the chairs you sit in out front waiting for an Uber. The air conditioner is right by the bed with the cold air blowing right on your head and the system is so loud and noisy!!! I had problems with their online reservations the screen kept changing my dates to another date unbeknownst to me I made the reservation thinking it was the date I put in, Later on I saw a charge on my credit card and found out it was for a no show for a date I wasn't supposed to be there. Management is so hungry for money they want accept the blame and refund my money! I did stay there for the night I originally planned after my cruise returned to Honolulu and you would think since their website failed me in good faith since I am an IHG member they would refund me the "No Show" money they charged me!

Rooms are adequate but were dirty especially the carpet and the carpet in common areas. There was mould growing on the bed base. The outdoor seats were filthy. Quite often there wasn't hot water in the shower. The airconditioning was noisy so we couldnt run it at night when it was needed. The breakfast was the same every day. Great for a couple of days but then just boring. On a positive the staff were friendly and helpful.
