The front desk staff are very kind, friendly and very accommodating. The room attendants are a professional at their jobs.Shout out to Gladys for a wonderful and friendly assistance during our stay. The three were just right for my family. The view was amazing and beautiful.

Great experience staying here. We stayed for 6 days in July. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always a smile from everyone at the front desk, breakfast staff, concierge and housekeeping. The lobby was open on both sides and comfortable with seating at each entrance. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a view of the pool from our window but there was very little outdoor or hallway noise. Elevators were fast. We never waited for more than a few minutes even though there were 20 floors being serviced by 3.

I normally stay at the Hale Koa but this trip was last minute and they were booked up. I found this Holiday Inn Express here on Tripadvisor. It had good reviews and I could get an ocean view room for half the price of one of the hotels right on the beach. Plus, I am an IHG member so I got points for the stay. My room on the 36th floor had a sweeping view of the ocean. it was well decorated as was the rest of the hotel. The room was kept clean, was updated and everything worked very well. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is included and it was everything that one would want for breakfast and it was kept replenished rapidly. The people who ran the breakfast area were friendly and efficient. In fact, everyone who works at this hotel were great, always smiling, willing to help and answer questions. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for someone who doesn't have to be right on the beach. It was very convenient to the beach, just a 2 1/2 block walk. The pool deck has a ping pong table, miniature golf course (small) and corn hole. So lots to keep kids busy. The only negatives that I can site are the small pool but then one has the Pacific Ocean close by and occasionally the elevator was very busy and the wait was a little long. But nothing that negatively impacted me or my stay.

The front desk with Gladys, Aubrey, Irene, and Merry were so friendly and helpful. They made check-in a breeze! They were also patient in explaining how to use the parking ticket to go in and out of the lot and about the breakfast tickets. Thank you for great service!

Poor supervision in pool hot tub area children running and jumping from pool to hot tub . Thus was like a Kiddee pool. Rooms nice clean and good breakfast buffet friendly staff and go location but not a hotel for adults for families I was rather disappointed
