FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX is taking place November 20 - 22, 2025
Road closures, including Las Vegas Boulevard, Sands Avenue, Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Access by vehicle will be restricted during these times and increased travel times and delays may occur especially between the hours of 5pm – 2am.
Las Vegas Boulevard pedestrian walkways and bridges will be available around the clock.
During race times it is recommended to use these walkways and pedestrian bridges to travel within the resort corridor.
RIDESHARE / TAXI SERVICES If you arrive prior to Road Closure times (5 p.m.), rideshare and taxi services will be able to access the property as usual, but you should still allow more time to complete your trip. If you are arriving between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. on race days and using a rideshare or taxi service, you will be dropped off at the designated Hotel Shuttle Drop Off Area then transferred to your lodging property. If departing during race times via rideshare or taxi services, shuttles will be available on a limited basis to take you to the satellite rideshare and taxi service departure location.

One Bedroom Terrace Fountain View Suite

This stay was for one night, and was originally booked as a comp night. At the front desk, I was offered an upgrade to a Fountain View Terrace Suite in the Chelsea Tower, which I gladly accepted. The Suite was very nice, if a bit on the dark side. I had no maintenance or cleanliness issues. It could do with brighter lighting in my opinion, but other than that it's a fantastic suite with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. Location wise, you're centre-strip with a lot of things easily within walking distance. I do love the connectivity it has with Bellagio and Vdara/Aria, which increases your choice of restaurants nearby.

This visit was a great experience as this property continuously refreshes their rooms and exceeds expectations. Like other properties on the strip patience is a needed skill when checking in during the rush, but the front line was smiling and ready to help. Post checkout there was an issue on my bill, which was caused by a confusing reservation paper trail (which I am sure I caused but the team was kind enough to not blame me, another sign of a good property. ) Long story short - Kyle from the Cosmo “operator” team patiently listened to the issue, quickly researched it, and cleared up all questions. This was such a good resolution, that I wanted to come here to share it! I hope the GM reads these, Kyle has solidified my decision of where to stay going forward, it’s the Cosmopolitan every day. Additional detail - the resolution was not free stuff, simply unwinding the issue that (of course) I likely (clearly ??) caused and making sure the charges were correct.
